DEAMONS

Excelente banda de power metal con el sello de calidad de la escuela sueca, una banda con un sonido espectacular altamente recomendable. El grupo se forma como digo en Suecia por el Batería de "Dionysus" Ronny Millianovicz en 2006 a quien se le unen al poco tiempo el cantante JanThore Grefstad (ex Highland Glory), el Guitarrista Toya Johansson y el bajista Nobby Noberg (ex Dionysus). Curiosamente en la actualidad siguen todos ellos menos el batería que inició el proyecto que dejó la banda en 2011 siendo sustituido por Oscar Nilsson. El grupo firmó con "Frontiers Records" en 2007, y en 2008 editaron su primer LP, “In Shadows Lost From The Brave”. A esta obra le siguió su segundo, y último hasta la fecha de esta reseña, LP, "Pandeamonium” en 2009. Desde ese momento no han dado señales de vida musical nueva, aunque se supone que están en activo y preparando su tercer trabajo. La realidad musical de Saint Deamon es que son una estupenda banda de power metal de calidad, se les nota enormemente la escuela sueca, llena de reminiscencias al sonido característico de bandas de su país, un toque casi neoclásico aunque más centrado en el power, un estilo también en parte muy propio encabezado por el genial cantante Jan Grefstad, con una potencia vocal, una calidad y un técnica envidiables, si eres de los que te gustan los cantantes de agudos sobraditos este es de los tuyos. En definitiva, una más que interesante banda de Power heavy metal de corte absolutamente europeo. Hoy quiero dejar un tema de su primer LP, “In Shadows Lost From The Brave”, de 2008, un discazo muy homogeneo, del que se pueden destacar muchos temas, hoy quiero dejar en el blog la canción "Deamons", un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
