OLD  KING'S  VISIONS  (PART VII)

Una de las bandas de heavy power españolas mas reconocidas internacionalmente, más asentadas e influyentes, editan en este 2024 "Sanctuary of death" el que será su séptimo LP de estudio en una carrera que lleva en activo desde 1999. Han dejado claro su camino compositivo desde el comienzo y que no piensan salirse de él, siempre fieles a su propuesta en estos días nos dejan su primer adelanto, " Old king's Visions " en su séptima parte ya, todo un clásico de la banda, canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Canciones para una vida - Vhäldemar - Death To The Wizard!

 

DEATH  TO  THE  WIZARD!

El sexto LP de estudio de una de las bandas más internacionales de las españolas en esto del power, "Vhaldemar" ha visto la luz recientemente, el pasado 6 de octubre. Se trata de "Straight to hell", y en la obra demuestran estos chicos que están en plena forma mostrando el porque de su éxito más allá de nuestras fronteras. El sonido del grupo desde el comienzo de su carrera, allá por 1999 ha sido siempre una apuesta clara or trascender nuestras fronteras, con un enfoque absolutamente al power de corte europeo que hace guiños a los mismisimos Gamma Ray en no pocas ocasiones, y en general, la contundente propuesta de la banda unida a la calidad compositiva e interpretativa, sin que una cosa le reste ni un apice a la otra, hace que muchos puedan ver rasgos de muchas bandas de las grandes en sus canciones. El sexto disco del que hoy dejo una de sus canciones no es sino una confirmación de su excelente momento del grupo, que parecen dar solo pasos al frente, buen ejemplo es este "Death to the wizard!", canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube .

Canciones para una vida - Vhäldemar - Metalizer

METALIZER

Vhäldemar es una banda española de Power metal, seguramente una de las que hacen en nuestro país un sonido más internacional y vendible, acompañado siempre de calidad tanto en lo compositivo como en el apartado de la producción. Este grupo tiene ya una larga trayectoria a sus espaldas ya que su historia comienza en 1999 habiendo editado en estos casi veinte años de vida como banda 5 LP's y un EP que completan una discografía muy recomendable que descubrir si aún no lo has hecho. Con un sonido como digo enmarcado en el power metal de corte europeo, en no pocas ocasiones se les ha comparado nada menos que con Gamma Ray, lo cual muestra por donde van sus tiros musicales desde el principio ya que una de sus primeras apariciones internacionales fue en el segundo tributo a Helloween "The keepers of Jericho" de 2002 haciendo una versión de "Gorgar". Hoy quiero dejar en el blog un tema de su quinto y, hasta la fecha de esta reseña, último LP, "Against all kings", de 2017, una obra editada tras cuatro años de silencio y de la que dejo hoy este "Metalizer" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
