Dragonforce - Burning Heart (Feat. Alissa White Gluz) - Canciones Para Una Vida

BURNING  HEART 

 Los británicos Dragonheart han hecho completamente de su sonido característico toda una declaración de principios, una franquicia practicamente, reconocible al instante solo variando algunos aspectos respecto a lo que se considera power de corte europeo, y eso les ha llevado al siguiente nivel de éxito en una carrera  que se extiende ya a lo largo de un par de décadas, desde comienzos de siglo. Otro de los pasos a explotar es el de las colaboraciones, y para esta ocasión han recurrido a la conocida y deslumbrante vocalista de Arch Enemy Alissa White-Gluz, que ayuda a dar forma a este "Burning Heart" originalmente incluido en su última obra de 2024 "Warp Speed Warriors", que en estos días nos deja la banda y del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

DOOMSDAY  PARTY

El noveno disco de los británicos Dragonforce es una obra que viene a confirmar e intensificar lo que es la esencia de la banda, dando el paso definitivo hacia la conquista de la escena del power moderno, sin perder para nada su esencia pero dando a sus temas un enorme filo que llegará a una gran cantidad de publico, en resumen se podría decir que si la banda te gusta esta obra te gustará más por lo intensificada que está la intención del grupo, y si no te iba su sonido desde luego con esta obra no cambiará tu opinión. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog otro de sus temas, "Doomsday Party" buen ejemplo de su facilidad para crear canciones que se instalan rápida y eficazmente en tu cerebro, tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

KINGDOM  OF  STEEL

Otro ejemplo de la nueva obra de los británicos obsesionados con los videojuegos y el sonido acorde, acelerado, de corte moderno y con una gran legión de seguidores que aumenta con cada obra. Este disco de 2024, "Warp speed warriors" supone ya su noveno LP de estudio desde 2001 en que funcionan con el nombre de Dragonforce (antes Dragonheart 1999 - 2001), así que han llegado sin duda a ese punto en el que saben perfectamente a por lo que van y lo ejecutan a la perfección. De su nueva obra dejo hoy en el blog el tema "Kingdom of steel" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

POWER  OF  THE  TRIFORCE

Dragonforce va mostrando detalles del que será su noveno LP de estudio en los veite ya años de carrera de la banda, sin duda es otro de esos grupos que paso a paso ha ido creciendo y estos con una buena acogida entre el gran público, siempre es un buen barómetro de esa aceptación el número de visualizaciones de una canción nueva de las bandas, y en este caso, con este adelanto, "Power of the triforce" no hay lugar a dudas. Se supone que la nueva obra traerá algunas novedades compositivas pero manteniendose fieles a las raices. El disco, "Warp speed warriors" verá la luz a mediados de marzo del ya próximo 2024, y como digo el segundo adelanto de la obra lleva por título "Power of the triforce", canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Canciones para una vida - Dragonforce - Curse Of Darkness

CURSE  OF  DARKNESS

Nuevamente traigo al blog la séptima y última, hasta la fecha de esta reseña, obra de los británicos "Dragonforce", del presente 2017, con su power speed metal marca y seña de la casa. Realmente en esta obra se puede apreciar una cierta madurez compositiva, o una cierta evolución, aunque para nada sin cambiar demasiado el sonido que les ha hecho conocidos. Si parece haber un cierto cambio en la producción de la obra con la introducción del técnico Jens Bogren, también tras obras de Amon Amarth, Kreator y otros grandes nombres, y parece que su mano se nota en algunos aspectos, posiblemente algo que los más radicales seguidores de los inicios de la banda quizá no vean con demasiados buenos ojos, pero sin duda en la obra se nota el espíritu del sonido Dragonforce. Uno de los ejemplos de sonido más a la antigua usanza de la banda del presente disco es la canción que quiero hoy dejar en el blog, "Curse of Darkness", y es que, como siempre digo, la clave de que una banda siga arriba es la calidad, la constancia y la evolución, pero en su justa medida, sin dejar de lado las raíces que la llevaron a ser creada, algo que en mi opinión, de momento, Dragonforce está haciendo bien. ASHES  OF  THE  DAWN

Vamos ahora con uno de los primeros adelantos del ya séptimo disco de estudio de la banda inglesa Dragonforce, de título "Reaching into infinity", cuya salida oficial se espera para este próximo 19 de mayo. A tenor de lo escuchado estamos ante un episodio más en la historia de la banda, en una onda muy "Dragonforce", con todas las características que han hecho del sonido de la banda algo tan reconocible. Así, una vez más nos encontramos ante ese personal sonido acelerado, con ese toque casi "chiptune", termino que ya he mencionado en el blog al referirme a esta banda y que hace referencia al sonido típico de los videojuegos en 8 -bits, todo ello envuelto en un cuidado power de corte europeo que hace que sin duda sea al menos interesante cada lanzamiento de esta banda que lleva ya activa desde 2001, (1999 bajo el nombre de Dragonheart que luego cambiarían a Dragonforce). Dejo hoy un enlace a clip oficial de esta "Ashes of the dawn", del que particularmente a mi me ha gustado el trabajo guitarrista de la parte del solo, así, a 1000 por hora, un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

THREE HAMMERS

Originalmente formados como "Dragonheart" en 1999, funcionan con esa denominación hasta 2001, en que adoptan definitivamente el nombre de "Dragonforce". Se trata de una banda Inglesa pero en cuya formación encontramos muchas nacionalidades, China, Francia, Ucrania o Inglaterra. La banda la forman los guitarristas Herman Li y Sam Totman, a los que se une el cantante ZP Theart en 2001, Didier Almouzni a la batería en 2001, Diccon Harper al bajo en 2001 y Vadim Pruzhanov al teclado también en 2001. Totman, Li y Prudhanov son los únicos integrantes originales que permanecen en la banda hasta la actualidad. Su discografía consta de seis discos de estudio editados entre 2003 y 2014 de un power metal acelerado una marcha, con mucha calidad. El año 2010 marcó la salida de la banda del cantante  "ZP Theart", que fue sustituido por "Marc Hudson", quien ha permanecido en la banda hasta hoy en día, realizando por lo tanto las funciones de vocalista en los últimos dos discos, "The Power Within" de 2012 y "Maximun Overload" de 2014. Es de este último disco del que quiero hoy dejar un tema en el blog, un disco en el que la banda, para promocionar su salida, se embarco en su segunda gira mundial, durante la cual han grabado un DVD en directo, "In the line of fire", salido el 10 de Julio de este 2015. Hoy voy a dejar en el blog el tema "Three Hammers", de este último disco de la banda hasta la fecha de esta reseña, con sus característicos elementos acelerados, con ese toque en el que casi parecen forzar sus instrumentos sobre todo en los tonos más altos, haciendo sonar su música en ocasiones a los llamados "Chiptunes" asociados al sonidos 8-bits de los videojuegos arcade, de hecho, en alguna ocasión se han autodenominado como "Nintendo metal" medio en broma. Canciones para una vida - Dragonforce - Cry Thunder

CRY THUNDER

La banda Dragonforce hace un power speed metal de buena factura. Se trata de una banda Inglesa pero en cuya formación encontramos muchas nacionalidades, desde China, Francia Ucrania o Inglaterra. LLevan sacando discos bajo el nombre de Dragonforce desde 2003 y cuentan con 6 discos de estudio de los que este The Power Within es el quinto, de 2012. Personalmente quizás deba darle más escuchas a toda su obra antes de hacer un juicio, pues la calidad a estos chicos les sobra. En este penúltimo disco que es el que más sencillo me resulta de escuchar como obra en total,  quiero destacar este magnifico Cry thunder, un tema que es un auténtico tiro, desde la primera escucha te entra directo. Hace muy poquito han sacado su sexto y hasta la fecha último disco de estudio Maximun Overload que tiene muy buena pinta de la que destacaría la canción Three Hammers así a primera escucha. En definitiva, una banda que hace un power metal acelerado una marcha, con mucha calidad y ya una trayectoria que merece la pena seguir. Dejo un enlace a youtube.
