Silent Winter - Utopia - Canciones Para Una Vida

UTOPIA

Hagamos un nuevo asalto a la cada vez más fiable escena griega para reconocer en esta otra banda el excelente estado de salud de la citada escena. Son Silent Winter, un grupo formado en 1995 pero reactivado en 2018 fecha en la que comienzan a publicar material de estudio más allá de las demos iniciales de su carrera. Hablamos de un heavy power con un cierto aire progresivo que de momento, a fecha de esta reseña, han publicado tres LP's de estudio (2019, 2021 y 2024), y del tercero de ellos "Utopia" de 2024, quiero dejar en el blog el tema que le da nombre, y del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Silent Winter - Dragon Dance

 

DRAGON  DANCE

Vamos ahora con la banda griega "Silent Winter", (los griegos, hay alguna banda más que lo han intentado bajo este nombre). La escena griega una vez más con su super explosión de bandas reseñables. En este caso el grupo tuvo una época inicial, en la que no salieron de unas demos entre 1995 y 2001, para retomar su actividad desde 2018 en adelante desde cuyo regreso han editado un EP inicial en 2018 seguido de dos LP's en el 19 y 21. Hablamos de power metal con un toque progresivo, y un trabajo que permite destacar al vocalista de buenas facultades y cuya forma de cantar a mi personalmente me recuerda a Henning Basse de Metalium, coros épicos, muchos elementos para al menos asomarse a la propuesta de esta banda que busca una segunda oportunidad y camino lleva de aprovecharla, veremos. De su segundo LP "Empire of sins" de 2021 dejo en el blog la canción "Dragon Dance" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
