Ambush - Evil In All Dimensions - Canciones Para Una Vida

EVIL  IN  ALL  DIMENSIONS

Otro grupo que llevaba ya todo un lustro sin dar noticias compositivas son los suecos Ambush, una banda que comenzó su carrera en 2013 siendo una de las notables que comenzaron a esgrimir una composición de heavy metal de la vieja escuela, a la antigua usanza, algo que luego se ha generalizado a nivel planetario con el repunte actual de ese sonido de sabor clásico, y es uno de esos grupos que llamo poderosamente mi atención desde el comienzo. Su inicio fue prolífico, con dos obras en dos años, (2014 y 2015) para luego levantar el pie hasta 2020 con su tercer LP. Como digo desde entonces silencio compositivo hasta este 2025 en que publicarán el curto LP "Evil in all dimensions" (para el 5 de septiembre) y del que han dejado ya su primer adelanto, el tema que dará nombre a la obra y del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

SOLDIER'S  POEM

Los suecos Ambush siguen adelante en este 2022 editando un nuevo single, "Barabbas" que nos presenta dos temas. Hablamos de ese personal y enérgico heavy metal de corte bastante clásico y sonido bastante moderno en lo que a producción se refiere, limpia e impecable haciendo tener esa sensación fantástica de estar escuchando a una banda de las de antes con una tecnica a su servicio de la actual. En este nuevo single nos demuestran que su capacidad sigue intacta, creciendo poco a poco en lo que parece preceder a lo que sería su cuarto LP de estudio del que yo no tengo aún constancia alguna, recordemos que su magnífico anterior trabajo "infidel" del que por supuesto ya he dejado algún tema aquí en el blog, fue del pasado 2020, por lo que no sería extraño tener pronto noticias de una nueva obra. INFIDEL

Un magnifico ejemplo de como hacer heavy metal de la vieja escuela en los timepos que corren, con el sabor de la dorada época de los 80 y el sonido limpio actual son estos chicos suecos a los que ya he ido trayendo al blog en varias ocasiones y que han vuelto a lograrlo en este su tercer, y hasta la fecha de esta reseña, último LP editado, "Infidel" que viera la luz el pasado 13 de marzo del presente 2020. Para aquellos que ya conozcais a la banda y hayais disfrutado de sus anteriores trabajos este "Infidel" va en la misma onda, y hoy quiero dejar en el blog otra de sus canciones, hoy la que da nombre a la obra, "Infidel", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Ambush - Hellbiter

HELLBITER

Tercera entrega de los suecos "Ambush", una banda que desde el inicio de su carrera me ha gustado mucho. Comenzaron en 2013 y su estilo musical es un heavy metal absolutamente clásico, crudo, sin adornos y directo, para amantes del sonido de la "Old School" y que en esta tercera entrega, a juzgar por lo escuchado en este primer adelanto de la obra parece seguir la misma senda. El disco se titula "Infidel" y verá la luz de forma oficial el próximo mes de marzo, del presente 2020, hasta entonces, dejo en el blog un enlace a youtube de su adelanto "Hellbiter".

Canciones para una vida - Ambush - Master Of The Seas

MASTER OF THE SEAS

 Ambush son un grupo sueco que ha decidido resucitar el espíritu clásico del heavy metal de la Old School, y vaya si lo está consiguiendo, con un concepto que responde perfectamente a la idea ochentera del heavy metal aunque evidentemente con una producción del siglo XXI, y además a ello hay que sumar la, por lo general, impecable forma de hacer música de la escuela sueca. El resultado es una banda que sin duda debería responder a las necesidades musicales de todos aquellos que nos consideramos amantes de la Old School ochentera, tanto como a los amantes del sonido de este siglo. Ambush se forma en 2013, y desde ese momento ha editado ya dos LP's, y un EP. Comienzan con el EP "Natural born killers", en 2014 al que le sigue su primer larga duración "Firestorm". Su discografía se completa con el recién salido "Desecrator", del que hoy voy a dejar una canción en el blog. La banda la forman Oskar Jacobsson (Cantante), Adam Hagelin (Guitarra) , Olof Engqvist (Guitarra) , Ludwig Sjöholm (Bajo) y Linus Fritzson (Batería), todos ellos a un gran nivel. Ambos discos muestran un excelente nivel, y hoy quiero dejar en el blog otro de los temas de su segundo LP "Desecrator", en esta ocasión "Master of the seas", del que dejo un enlace a youtube. Según mi forma de verlo, una de esas bandas para seguir su carrera, en vista de lo hecho hasta ahora y de la promesa de lo que vendrá.
