Valhalore - The Storm - Canciones Para Una Vida

THE  STORM

Parece que ya definitivamente si que es inminente la salida de la nueva obra de estudio de los australianos Valhalore, una banda de death melódico de aire folk y aspiración épica que comenzó muy fuerte hace poco más de una década pero que han tenido seguramente alguna dificultad para que una mayor continuidad les hubiese puesto en el mapa internacional mucho más arriba. Este "Beyond the stars" será su segundo album de estudio tras su debut de 2017 "Voyage into eternity" que tan buena impresión dejó, y verá la luz de forma oficial el 11 de abril si no sufre nuevos retrasos, esperemos que no. Canciones para una vida - Valhalore - Horizon

HORIZON 

Como es costumbre el preludio de un nuevo album de estudio suele ir precedido por una serie de singles, y en esas estamos con los australianos Valhalore, banda que practica un heavy power melodeath folk epic y hasta symphonic metal, un amplio rango de influencias que les va llevando ya desde 2013 en un viaje que sin terminar de explotar a nivel internacional si que es siempre prometedor y cada vez más. Han editado un solo LP de estudio en 2017 acompañado por dos EP's en 2015 y 2018, fecha esta última desde la que solo han editado singles, el último de los cuales ha sido editado este mes de junio, "Horizon" y perece que formará parte de su próximo LP "Beyond the stars" del que aún desconozco más detalles, como digo sonido multisubgénero, fácil de asimilar para todos los públicos y ciertamente enganchón también a través de otro de sus rasgos distintivos, los coros épicos, un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Canciones para una vida - Valhalore - Guardians Of Time

GUARDIANS  OF  TIME

Ya en la primera reseña que hice en el blog sobre estos australianos hice referencia a esta obra, el primer larga duración y único hasta la fecha de esta reseña, y hoy ha llegado el momento de dejar  un tema de dicha obra en el blog. Parece que la carrera del grupo se va desarrollando paso a paso, progresivamente y con buena continuidad, ya que la banda es de reciente formación, 2013, y desde la misma han editado un EP en 2015 junto con un single del que ya hablé en la pasada reseña. En 2016 editaron otro single perteneciente a este "Voyage into eternity", su primer LP ya referido, de 2017, y del que hoy quiero dejar un tema en el blog. Se trata de una banda que basa su sonido en un death power melódico con aire folk, bastante de la escuela europea a pesar de su origen australiano. Otra de sus características es el elevado número de miembros que la forman, seis músicos entre incluyendo una chica en funciones de instrumentos de viento que dan ese aire folk. Resulta curioso que aún, a pesar de su buen camino no hayan recibido el apoyo de una discográfica, pero eso no significa nada en este caso en lo musical, con una producción mucho más que correcta. Canciones para una vida - Valhalore - Across The Frozen Ocean

ACROSS  THE  FROZEN  OCEAN

 Valhalore es una banda australiana que hace más o menos un año editó su primer LP, "Voyage into eternity" cosechando bastante éxito entre la prensa especializada, unas expectativas que ya traían desde tiempos de su primer material allá por 2015. La banda se forma en 2013 y desde sus inicios tenían claro como querían sonar, con un concepto épico, centrado en cuestiones viquingas, un trasfondo folk que acompaña a una banda extensa, seis miembros, con un concepto vocal que salta del death melódico al casi power, y acompañado or instrumentos de viento y clásicos en ocasiones que ayudan a crear una atmósfera más sinfónica sin caer en un abuso de los mismos. Es una banda bastante melódica, en ocasiones hasta un pelin progresiva, pero con una base más sencilla que logra que sus temas te lleguen pronto. Sin duda tienen pinta de dar que hablar en el futuro. Hoy quiero dejar un tema en el blog de su primer EP, "Valhalore", de 2015, de hecho su primer tema grabado que salió en forma de single antes incluso que el EP, la canción "Across the frozen ocean" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube. Volveré a estos chicos para dejar más adelante algún tema de su primer LP.
