Cinco añitos ya llevaba la banda noruega Einherjer sin anunciarnos un nuevo disco de estudio, algo que este 2026 deja de ser así ya que el grupo saca en junio "Lifeblood", el que será su décimo ya LP de estudio siempre con su reconocible estilo vikingo. El primero de los adelantos de la obra es la canción que abre la misma, "Bloodborn", un tema del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Mob Rules - Master Of The Black Crow

MASTER  OF  THE  BLACK  CROW 

Que gran noticia que los germanos Mob Rules parezcan coger de nuevo una inercia compositiva más alta, se trata  de una de esas bandas que llevan mucho tiempo haciendo las cosas bien pero habían caído en largos silencios entre obras, y si aumentan su frecuencia sin dejar de lado la calidad habitual será siempre una gran noticia. El pasado 2025 publicaron su undécimo LP de estudio tras siete años de silencio y que en este 2026 aprovechen a sacar una especie de EP con material desechado de sus últimas sesiones de grabación parece mostrar esa intención de mantenerse más a la vista. "Stories from the verdant vale" saldrá a la venta de forma oficial el 21 de agosto y de él dejo su adelanto "Master of the black crow".

Los estadounidenses Khemmis son una banda con una ya cierta trayectoria a sus espaldas si bien no han llegado a explotar de cara al gran público. Creadores de un heavy doom de pesados riffs, en este 2026 el grupo lanzará su quinto LP de estudio el próximo mes de junio, desde su formación allá por 2012. Lex Legion - Sleep Eternally

SLEEP  ETERNALLY 

Seguro que dará que hablar el nuevo proyecto que echa a andar compositivamente hablando en este 2026, "Lex Legion", un proyecto que reune a buena parte de la formación de finales de los ochenta de los míticos King Diamond, así nombres como Andy LaRocke (guitarra) o Mikkey Dee (batería) son argumento suficiente para despertar el interés de todo metalhead que se precie. Hablamos, claro está, de heavy metal de corte clásico, de alto nivel, el que la experiencia conjunta de músicos de tal calibre debe dar. En junio verá la luz de su debut de título identico al nombre de la banda, 9 temas en la versión regular de la obra de los que la banda ya ha desgranado el primero, "Sleep Eternally" que abrirá el disco y del que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

OCEANWIDE 

Siempre celebro que los suecos Narnia saquen material nuevo, una de esas bandas que cuidan absolutamente el sonido que crean, y que ya tiene un innegable sello personal, y es que la banda tiene ya una trayectoria larga, (desde 1996), con un amago de separación, (2010 a 2014), algo que afortunadamente quedó solo en eso, y en este 2026 el grupo sacará a la venta su décimo LP, "X", concretamente el 29 de mayo, y de él nos dejan ya el adelanto "Oceanwide" del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube.

THE  CIRCUS  IS  IN  TOWN

Dominum es uno de esos casos de bandas que parecen abocadas a copar los puestos más altos de la aristocracia metálica no solo europea, uno de esos casos donde su carrera parece seguir un plan preconcebido, y paso a paso parece irse cumpliendo. En este 2026 los alemanes publicarán su trecer LP de estudio, "Night is calling" cuya salida oficial se espera para el tres de julio, y ya tenemos aquí su primer adelanto de la nueva obra, "The circus is in town" con un toque casi industrial, moderno, que me ha recordado mucho a la propuesta de los suecos Tungsten por momentos, una canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Nueva obra a la vista del guitarrista griego Gus G. conocido y reconocido a nivel global y siempre respaldado por la calidad de sus obras. "Steel Burner" será su sexto LP de estudio en solitario, verá la luz de forma oficial el próximo 24 de abril y para la ocasión ha contado con la colaboración de varios artistas internacionales de primera línea, en el apartado vocal, Matt Barlow, Ronnie Romero o Doro Pesch por nombrar los más conocidos y en el bajo Dennis Ward por ejemplo. Torian - Soul Vampires

SOUL  VAMPIRES 

Por fin noticias compositivas de los alemanes Torian. aunque sea en forma solo de un single que al menos demuestra que siguen activos, ya que desde su último LP publicado, ya en 2018, solo otro single en 2023 además de este citado "Soul Vampires" de este 2026 son testigos de su estatus activo como banda. Como siempre power metal de corte europeo, con el sello además en la producción una vez más de Seeb Levermann que ya resulta ser parte de la identidad sonora de la banda y a destacar también la estabilidad del grupo en que permanecen los mismos miembros casi desde su formación, así que no hay cambios desde 2005 lo que incluye todo su material publicado. Dejo hoy en el blog este nuevo single, "Soul Vampires" que esperemos sea el preludio de una nueva obra que sería ya la cuarta, canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Parece que los finlandeses Metal de Facto se sienten absolutamente cada vez más como una banda consolidada más que como un proyecto puntual, se nota que el grupo está cada vez más engrasado y en su tercer trabajo de estudio queda absolutamente patente. Crimson Glory - Angel Of My Nightmare

ANGEL  IN  MY  NIGHTMARE 

Los grandes nombres, sean lo masivos que sean, porque en ocasiones los grandes nombres no tienen porque ser bandas masivas, siempre van de la mano de un exceso de opiniones, parece que todos tenemos derecho a opinar en base a una trayectoria o a una época de éxito, pero los grupos tienen sus propias idiosincrasias, sus propios senderos y tiempos, épocas y cambios, forzados o elegidos, y del hecho de que sigan adelante, a pesar de todo o a pesar del largo tiempo transcurrido, debe leerse al menos la valentía de tener que enfrentarse a esas opiniones que vendrán seguro. Los estadounidense Crimson Glory es una de esas bandas, con las expectativas creadas, en una no demasiado extensa discografía pero con un renombre mítico, en un concepto algo más complejo como es siempre el toque progresivo, y enfrentándose a un largo silencio (de casi tres décadas) y con la pérdida de un miembro insustituible como el carismático vocalista Midnight, regresan en este 2026 con "Chasing the hydra", (17 abril), para mostrar la valentía, la capacidad y la ilusión. Los tiempos que corren hacen que uno deba ser muy visible a los potenciales fans, es un momento de fugacidad, todo va muy rápido y la oferta es casi ilimitada, así que las bandas recurren cada vez más a los singles entre obras, casi ciclicamente y Sabaton son maestros en eso. La excusa en esta ocasión para el single "Yamato" de este 2026 es la colaboración con el videojuego "World of warships" en el que el propio Joachim Broden resulta ser un jugador elegible para el juego. Parecía muy atascada la carrera de los griegos Battleroar que llevaban ya ocho años de silencio desde su anterior LP de estudio publicado "Codex Epicus" de 2018, pero en este 2026 parecen activarse con su primer adelanto de lo que será su sexto disco "Petrichor" cuya salida oficial se espera para finales de abril. Otra banda más de reciente formación que va dando pasos adelante en su carrera son los noruegos Rozario, en una clave de heavy metal melódico, con rasgos hard, con ese regusto clásico ochentero. Formados a inicios de la presente década su primer LP "The Gods we Swear" fue publicado en 2023 y en este recien pasado mes de febrero de 2026 publicaban de manera oficial su segundo LP "Northern Crusaders" del que quiero dejar hoy en el blog su canción "We are one" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube de su videoclip oficial.

Leatherwitch - Beast Inside

BEAST  INSIDE 

La frontwoman de la banda polaca Crystal viper, que se disolvió el pasado 2025, sigue su carrera creando ahora la banda Leatherwitch. poco ha trascendido de la separación del grupo tras dos décadas de actividad, pero lo cierto es que ahora la nueva banda que nace Leatherwitch cuenta con algún ex miembro de Crystal Viper además de la carismática lider Marta Gabriel que perpetúa en gran medida el sonido que venía mostrando Crystal Viper ahora en Leatherwitch cuya presentación se está haciendo estos días a través del single "Beast inside" del que hoy dejo en el blog un enlace a youtube.
