Tras la salida de Thomas Winkler de Gloryhammer, este uniría fuerzas con Sebastian Levermann de Orden Ogan para formar Angus McSixx, una banda que deslubró con su debut y que en este 2025 deja un single, veremos si de adelanto de un hipotético segundo disco de estudio, el caso es que para la ocasión encontramos un cambio en la formación, ya que no vemos a la voz ya a Thomas Winkler, muy bien sustituido para este single por el cantante de Manimal Samuel Nyman. La verdad es que todo lo que toque el bueno de Seeb Levermann se transforma en oro musical, y esperemos que siga adelante mucho tiempo con este proyecto y otros, también en la producción. Vamos de nuevo con la primera obra del grupo formado alrededor de la figura del suizo Thomas Winkler, ex de Gloryhammer, que ha querido demostrar que era importante dentro de la visión compositiva de su ex banda, sacando en el fondo, su propia version de Gloryhammer, prometiendo sin duda que esto no será flor de un día, veremos. Buen ejemplo de la capacidad y potencial para seguir en el futuro es el tema "Eternal Warrior" del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube.

SIXCALIBUR 

Una vez más sucede esa vieja historia, la de la separación de miembros de una banda que deciden proseguir el planteamiento calcado al realizado en la banda de la que deciden salir, evidenciando seguramente una salida no muy amistosa, y la inminente respuesta compositiva de la misma editando material sin aquel sustituido por otro músico. Es facilmente previsible que no sea casualidad, y ese rencilla mencionada, de la que no se nada por cierto, parece también evidenciarse. Sea como sea, ahora tenemos dos bandas en lugar de una, "Angus Mc Six" por un lado que editará su debut "...And the sword of power" en solo unas semanas, (21 de abril), y Gloryhammer con su "Return to the kingdom of Fife" para el 2 de junio. El segundo adelanto de "Angus McSix" se titula "Sixcalibur" y de él dejo en el blog un enlace a youtube.

MASTER  OF  THE  UNIVERSE

Desconozco exactamente cual fue el motivo de la salida de Thomas Winkler de la banda Gloryhammer, e igualmente si esta salida se hizo de manera digamos civilizada o de la otra, pero lo que si está claro es que esta historia que se nos presenta bajo el nombre de Angus McSix es una hisoria vieja como la música. Es decir, dejo un grupo por el motivo que sea, para dar salida a mi propio material, mi enfoque, en la línea absoluta compositiva de lo que venía haciendo en la banda original. Pongamonos en el caso uno, la salida fue traumática. Pues bien, el bueno de Thomas, a través de este primer adelanto, deja bien claro que es más que capaz de hacer un sonido al nivel de Gloryhammer sin el resto de sus ex compañeros. Pongamonos en el segundo supuesto, separación civilizada, consensuada y meditada, está claro que la compañía que se ha buscado para la obra el bueno de Thomas le hace ganar muchos enteros si es que se decide continuar con la banda, ya que nada menos que Seeb Levermann aparece tras los hilos de esta trama, se nota en lo compositivo, sobre todo en la parte de coros, y en lo sonoro, por lo que un enfoque por parte de Thomas de hacer un grupo a su gusto tambén cabría aquí como teoría. Sea como sea, los amantes del power están de enhorabuena ante la perspectiva que se abre, como queda patente en el single "Master of the universe" que sirve para presentar el primer disco de la banda, "And the sword of power" cuya salida oficial se espera para el mes de abril, un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.
