FUTURE  CALLS

El segundo disco de estudio de Northtale es en muchos sentidos la confirmación de que estos chicos van en serio en esta su, aún, incipiente carrera que comenzase en 2017. Con el cambio respecto a su debut en el apartado vocal tan solo, el resto de la banda permanece inalterado y ya mostraron su valía de sobra en el debut de 2019 "Welcome to paradise". Para este segundo LP, "Eternal Flame" han incluso contado con colaboraciones, la más notable, o notoria según se quiera ver es la de Kai Hansen a la voz en el tema que hoy dejo en el blog, "Future Calls". Como digo parece una confirmación absoluta de las pretensiones de la banda poseedora de un sonido power muy de la escuela europea a pesar de lo internacional de su formación. Buen ejemplo de su capacidad es este "Future calls" con el plus colaborativo de Hansen, tema del que hoy dejo un enlace a youtube.

ONLY  HUMAN

Confirmación de la continuidad de esta banda a través de las primeras noticias de su segundo LP de estudio, "Eternal Flame" que verá la luz de forma oficial el próximo mes de noviembre. El grupo se formó en 2017 , siendo 2019 el año de su debut con "Welcome to paradise". De su formación inicial tan solo ha cambiado el puesto de cantante, dejando de formar parte de la banda Christian Eriksson (Ex Twilight Force) engrosando las filas de la banda el cantante Guilherme Hirose, (Traumer). Seguimos, a traves del primer adelanto de la nueva obra, canción titulada "Only Human", adivinando una continuidad en el sonido facturado por la banda en clave de power de corte europeo, a pesar de que los integrantes de la misma cuenten con miembros de ambos lados del charco, Usa y Suecia. La voz del nuevo cantante encaja perfectamente en lo planteado por la banda. Todo hace pensar en una carrera estructurada y en este disco apoyada por "Nuclear Blast", veremos. dejo pues un enlace a youtube de este primer single, "Only Human"

THE  RHYTHM  OF  LIFE

Otro proyecto en clave de power que comenzó en 2017 su andadura para de momento haber dado solo fruto en clave de LP en 2019 con su debut "Welcome to paradise" de la que ya hablé en su momento en el blog. Hoy repito para dejar otra de sus canciones además de comentar el cambio de cantante en la formación tras la salida de la banda de Christian Eriksson, (ex de "Twilight Force" y la incorporación de Gilherme Hirose conocido por su trabajo vocal en "Traumer" por ejemplo. Este proyecto internacional incorpora músicos de ambos lados del Atlántico, sin embargo el sonido escogido es muy de corte europeo y se les puede enseguida identificar con bandas nórdicas del estilo. Hoy dejo la canción, "The Rhythm of life", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube, mientras esperamos la salida de material nuevo, algo que parece que vaya a suceder muy probalemente por la calidad del debut y por la nueva incorporación mencionada.

HIGHER

 Una vez más la táctica de que los integrantes de bandas diversas se mezclen y remezclen para crear proyectos y bandas nuevas se ve reflejado en la creación de esta banda, mayoritariamente sueca, "Northtale", enmarcada en un power metal de corte clásico y absolutamente europeo. Estamos ante músicos de contrastada calidad, aunque sean nombres no demasiado "famosos" digamos, aunque su trayectoria habla por ellos, así a la guitarra y composición Bill Hudson de por ejemplo Trans Siberian Orchestra o UDO, Christian Eriksson a la voz, ex de Twilight Force, Patrick Johansson, ex de Ynwie o WASP a la batería nos hablan de una experiencia que se ve reflejada en la promesa aún del sonido que vendrá bajo el nombre de "Northtale", cuyo debut saldrá a la luz el próximo 2 de agosto bajo el título "Welcome to paradise", del que h¡nos dejan de momento el single de adelanto, "Higher", canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube de su lyric vídeo oficial.
