Se acerca el momento para la publicación de la nueva obra de estudio de los suecos Eclipse, "Megalomanium II", concretamente para el 20 de septiembre. THE  SPARK

Finalmente esa serie de singles que han ido adelantando los suecos van a plasmarse en un nuevo LP de estudio para finales de verano, la segunda parte de "Megalomanium" de 2023, será "Megalomaniium" y verá la luz exactamente el 20 de septiembre, siendo ya su décimo LP de estudio. FALLING  TO  MY  KNEES

Parece que los suecos Eclipse se han acostumbrado ultimamente a mantenerse activos de cara al gran público a través de singles "enlace" entre obra y obra, estamos todos de acuerdo en que en la sociedad actual la continua oferta de opciones unido a la escasa capacidad de mantener la atención en algo mucho tiempo seguido hace que mantenerse visible para una banda y que no se olviden de ellos es fundamental, y Eclipse lleva ya en este 2024 dos singles, aparentemente sin conexión entre si ni preludio de obra nueva, el segundo de ellos con excusa de celebrar la llegada del verano lleva por título "Falling to my knees" y de su clip oficial dejo hoy un enlace a youtube.

APOCALYPSE  BLUES

Vamos con uno de esos grupos que llevan ya mucho tiempo siendo un seguro de vida en esto de la calidad y el acierto compositivo, los suecos Eclipse que en estos días dejan un nuevo single con la escusa de que en breve habrá un eclipse y ellos han visto la ocasión para editar este par de temas en un vinilo con regalo de gafas para disfrutar de dicho eclipse incluidas, puro marketing eso sí acompañado de buena música siempre bajo este nombre. Vuelta a los ultramelódicos suecos "Eclipse" demostrando una vez más en este 2023 el excelente estado de forma que están atravesando. El disco raya a gran altura en general, siempre para los oidos acostumbrados al heavy metal melódico hard rock europeo. ANTHEM

Los suecos Eclipse van progresivamente recortando el tiempo que pasa entre la edición de cada obra, pero no por ello recortan en la calidad, en ese sonido ya tan reconocible y característico que es su sello personal, con su aparente facilidad para crear canciones con gancho, de las que entran directas a tu cabeza y después tienes esa sensación de que hace mucho que las conocías. El octavo LP de estudio de los suecos Eclipse ya está a la vista, "Megalomanium" cuya salida oficial se espera para el mes de septiembre. Estamos ante una de esas bandas que han encontrado perfectamente su hueco en la escena internacional, cada vez más reconocidos, su sonido pulido, enganchón y en clave de hard rock y heavy melódico es su seña de identidad y su inercia compositiva parece encontrarse cómoda en entregar un disco cada dos años ultimamente, una gran noticia para los que disfrutamos con sus obras. POISON  INSIDE  MY  HEART

"Poison Inside my heart" es uno de los temas que componen el último de los trabajos de los suecos Eclipse, de título "Wired" del presente 2021, uno de esos temas que representan otra de sus características compositivas, la de las canciones más tranquilitas, de esas vestidas con piel de medio tiempo pero con la capacidad de darte un plus en el sentido de la energía, son temas que tienen esa virtud de satisfacerte en lo más melancólico tanto como al tiempo darte esa dosis energética, una faceta en la que una vez más Eclipse se han hecho unos maestros. La verdad es que la obra en su conjunto es destacable, recomendable, pero es que realmente toda su discografía a lo largo ya de dos décadas es remarcable. THINGS  WE  LOVE

 La aparente facilidad que tiene esta banda para crear melodías pegajosas de esas que se te meten directamente en la cabeza no parece tener final, y este octavo disco ya del grupo, "Wired" es otro buen ejemplo de ello. Hablamos, como eiempre que lo hacemos de este fenomenal grupo, de un hard rock rápido, alegre, eficaz y pegadizo, con reminiscencias modernas y clásicas en un equilibrio fantástico. Otro enorme disco del que hoy dejo en el blog un gran ejemplo de lo dicho en lo que se refiere a temas adictivos, "Things we love", de esas canciones que uno tararea durante un día entero en los momentos más insospechados, canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

TWILIGHT

Claramente a medida que transcurre la carrera de los suecos "Eclipse" nos damos cuenta de que estamos cada vez más ante una banda mediatica, una de esas que por puro trabajo e insistencia en la calidad van reclutando obra tras obra a mayor número de seguidores. A comienzos de este mes de octubre han editado su octavo LP de estudio, "Wired", que no es sino una confirmación de lo dicho, afinados en su estilo, con temas pegadizos, casi singles cada uno de ellos, una producción impecable, sabiendo perfectamente lo que quieren hacer y haciendolo. Por supuesto, todo el que conoce la trayectoria de la banda sabe que hablamos de un hard rock melódico, cada vez más hacia el Hard Rock, cada vez si acaso más alejados del heavy metal, pero como digo siempre con la calidad por bandera. Canciones para una vida - Eclipse - The Downfall Of Eden

 

THE  DOWNFALL  OF  EDEN

Es exagerado el número de bandas que han escogido el nombre de "Eclipse" para desarrollar su carrera musical, ahora que miraba de nuevo los datos de la salida del nuevo LP de los suecos me he fijado en este dato, obviamente me quiero volver a referir a los fenomenales autores de "Monumentum" entre otras obras, y de la que hoy haré referencia en el blog. Como digo, mientras esperamos la salida en octubre del nuevo material de la banda es siempre una buena idea repasar la historia del grupo que de momento se compone de 7 albumes de estudio más el octavo "Wired" citado que se editará en octubre. Su facilidad para crear ese sonido tan enganchón es impresionante, al igual que las colaboraciones que algunos de sus miembros, (sobre todo Eric Martensson, guitarra, bajo y cantante), han realizado fuera de la banda madre, W.E.T., Gathering Of Kings, Nordic Union....Parecen haber encontrado la fórmula y esperemos la repitan muchos años. "Monumentum" de 2017, su sexto LP fue el punto definitivo seguramente de evolución, podríamos decir, de ese punto de confianza y asentamiento que alcanza una banda y que marca la diferencia, una obra de la que hoy quiero dejar en el blog uno de sus temas, y uno de los que más me gustan de dicho disco es "The downfall of eden", canción de la que hoy dejo un enlace a youtube.

 Nueva confirmación del enorme trabajo que estos suecos se han sacado de la manga, me refiero a otro de los temas que componen este "Paradigm" del pasado 2019, séptimo LP del grupo en estos ya veinte años de historia personal que comenzasen allá por 1999, ya sabeís, un hard rock melódico, con un toque moderno, un toque hard heavy y una producción impecable. La canción hoy escogida es la que cierra la obra, "Take me home", una confirmación de que hasta el final la obra merece completamente la pena, una canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Eclipse - The Masquerade

THE  MASQUERADE

Otra banda que poco a poco, y por méritos propios, ha ido haciendose lentamente una reputación, en esta ocasión dentro del campo del heavy melódico - hard rock, eso si, de corte moderno y de calidad innegable. Su carrera se remonta ya a 1999 y en estos 20 años ya de carrera han editado 7 LP's de estudio contando este "Paradigm" salido el pasado mes de septiembre. Siempre apoyados en un importante componente melódico sus discos suelen ser interesantes en su conjunto, con muchos momentos importantes en los mismos, algo que se perpetua en esta nueva obra. Uno de esos temas destacables puede ser este "The Masquerade" que hoy dejo en el blog, con muchos de los ingredientes marca de la casa, y de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
