Recién salido a la venta de forma oficial, "Warriors" es el undécimo LP de estudio de los alemanes Feuerschwanz, quienes demuestran una vez más el crecimiento sin mesura y sin aparentes límites que obra tras obra van alcanzando. THE  UNHOLY  GRAIL

Que magnifica decisión la de los germanos Feuerschwanz de dar un giro digamos más serio, más potente y metálico a su carrera, pues en los últimos años, sobre todo desde 2020, han ido en un imparable crecimiento, conquistando territorio nuevo a cada obra, y es que su calidad y esa mezcla personal de ingredientes logran que las hordas metálicas se rindan a sus encantos compositivos. En estos días estamos ante los primeros destellos de los que será un nuevo album publicado por la banda, en una demostración más del exito que van cosechando que les ha hecho plantearse la publicación de este album llamemoslo especial ya que aunque cuenta con un par de temas nuevos, su principal característica es contar con versiones propias en inglés, un paso más hacia la conquista planetaria, para ello cuentan además con colaboraciones especiales como en uno de esos temas nuevos "The Unholy Grail" donde Orden Ogan pone su granito de arena, temazo del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube.

El evidente ascenso en todos los aspectos de esta banda creo que objetivamente es indiscutible, y todo ello a pesar de la barrera que puede suponer desarrollar su sonido en su alemán natal, por lo que es fácil imaginar las puertas que se le abrirían al grupo si decidiese dar el paso a desarrollar su sonido en el internacional inglés. SGFRD  DRAGONSLAYER

Por fin ha salido ya de forma oficial a la venta el nuevo trabajo de los germanos Feuerschwanz, "Fegefeuer", este recien pasado 21 de julio, un trabajo, el undécimo de su discografía que no hace sino demostrar de nuevo su espectacular momento y les situa sin duda entre las bandas más en forma de los ultimos años, ahora inmersos de lleno en esta etapa más seria, o menos enfocada hacia lo teatral, aunque sin dejarlo de lado por completo, al final forma parte del ADN de la banda. BERSERKERMODE

Claramente la banda germana "Feuerschwanz" se encuentra a sus anchas en su nuevo rol sonoro, progresivamente la banda ha ido icluyendo desde hace unos años, cada vez más elementos metálicos a sus discos hasta llegar al punto en el que estamos, sin renunciar al componente cómico que siempre guió sus pasos y sin dar la espalda a su componente folk, han desarrollado un lustroso producto que en julio verá como se da un paso más editando su nueva obra "fegefeuer" de la que hoy dejo en el blog su segundo adelanto, "Berserkermode" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

BASTARD  VON  ASGARD

Los germanos "Feuerschanz" parecen lanzados, parecen tener el tiempo que muchas otras bandas no encuentran, para editar material propio y ajeno a partes iguales, sin dejar de lado en absoluto ni la calidad ni la seriedad compositiva de la que en los últimos años están haciendo gala, parece que queda definitivamente atrás ese planteamiento completamente jocoso que guiaba sus pasos en sus inicios, aunque sin dar la espalda por completo a sus origenes, este enfoque más "serio" les va llevando paso a paso a la cima, y eso a pesar de la barrera idiomática de cantar en su alemán natal, lo que a ojos del metalhead internacional no siempre se acoge con buena predisposición. El caso es que tras su reciente disco de versiones, en este 2023 veremos la publicación de su undécimo LP de estudio, "Fegefeuer" cuya salida oficial se espera para el próximo mes de julio, y del que ya nos han dejado su primer single, "Bastard von Asgard" del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube.

BLINDING  LIGHTS

Ya están de vuelta los germanos "Feuerschwanz" con su propuesta, ultimamente más metálica, siempre interesante y que en este 2022 presentan el album "Todsunden" donde utilizan material ajeno para darle el sello propio de la banda, con todos los ingredientes del grupo, para temas de dentro y fuera del mundillo metálico. El album verá la luz el 30 de diciembre, parece que se apuntan a una tradición pues hará justo un año en esa fecha que presentaron su anterior trabajo "Memento Mori". El primero de los adelantos de esta especie de recopilatorio de versiones de bandas se titula "Blinding Lights", originalmente compuesto por el canadiense "The Weeknd" de un ambito fuera de nuestro mundillo, pero que Feuerschwanz hace suyo, canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube

ULTIMA  NOCTE

Siguiendo con el repaso de las obras destacables de este recien terminado 2021, recalo hoy en la última obra editada por los alemanes "Feuerschwanz" quienes han esperado al último día del año para editar su décimo album de estudio, el segundo desde que decidieron darle un aire más serio, o metálico, menos jocoso a su música. el resultado no puede haber sido más pleno de acierto y mostrando esa calidad que sin ningún lugar a dudas poseen. Estamos ante una obra, "memento mori" digna sucesora de su magnífico anterior trabajo "Das elfte gebot" de 2020, que fue, para migusto, sin duda uno de los discos del año de ese 2020. Como digo, siguiendo la estela abierta con esa anterior obra y con ese planteamiento "nuevo" compositivo parecen afianzarse con su folk metal germano. Quiero hoy dejar en el blog otra de las canciones que componen la obra, en esta ocasión "ultima nocte" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.
