Los alemanes Dawn Of Destiny son uno de esos claros ejemplos de como la calidad y el reconocimiento no siempre van de manera acorde, y en concreto, en este tipo de ocasiones, ante una banda de largo recorrido, (desde 2005 con ya nueve LP's de estudio a sus espaldas si incluimos el último de ellos de finales de noviembre de este 2024), dicha afirmación se hace aún más evidente. Se trata de una banda que ha pasado demasiado desapercibida en terminos generales, practicando un tipo de power metal muy personal y disfrutable, siempre con voz femenina presidiendo sus obras el grupo goza de una gran estabilidad por parte de sus miembros, lo que suele también en no pocas ocasiones ir de la mano de la calidad. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una de las canciones de su última obra "IX", concretamente "Crown of creation" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Dawn Of Destiny - And With Silence Comes The Fear

 

 AND  WITH  SILENCE  COMES  THE  FEAR

Dawn of Destiny es una banda alemana de esas que es dificil de encasillar en un solo subgénero o con una sola etiqueta, es un grupo que adorna sus LP's con muchos matices, y a lo largo de sus épocas han ido a su vez evolucionando, así, encontramos rasgos power, casi como la base más común a lo largo y ancho de sus obras, pero además esos ramalazos desde gotiquillos hasta progresivos, con voces muchos más agresivas en ocasiones, un tanto "pseudo death", la dualidad vocla masculina y femenina, dan para enriquecer sus discos, aunque ese puede ser también su problema para llegar a las masas, requieren más atención de escucha, lo que en la práctica suele ser un problema para vender más discos. El grupo se forma en 2005 y siguen en activo en nuestros días con una discografía a sus espaldas de 7 LP's de estudio, el último de ellos de 2019. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una de las canciones de su quinto LP "F.E.A.R.", de 2014, concretamente el tema con el que abren "And with silence comes the fear", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
