Dragonknight - Defenders Of Dragons - Canciones Para Una Vida

DEFENDERS  OF  DRAGONS

En enero vio la luz el debut de los finlandeses Dragonknight, que ha resultado ser todo un homenaje a las grandes bandas europeas del género en pasadas décadas, recurriendo a los clichés típicos de este sonido para dejarnos una obra que hará las delicias de los amantes de este tipo de bandas. Incorporan algunos elementos folk aunque no siempre, otra de las virtudes de la banda parece ser ese acierto a la hora de variar su repertorio poniendose así las bases para que llegue a ser una banda destacable si siguen este camino y tienen constancia claro. Hoy dejo en el blog otra de sus canciones, "defenders of dragons" típico "tiro" directo a tu cerebro que tararearás desde casi la primera escucha, un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Dragonknight - Pirates Bloody Pirates

PIRATES  BLOODY  PIRATES

Los finlandeses enmascarados Dragonknight siguen adelante con la presentación de la banda en sociedad a través de otro de sus adelantos, "Pirates Bloody Pirates", en el que muestran un mimetismo compositivo con Running Wild, (algo podíamos sospechar solo con el título de la canción), pero lo que demuestra la banda con este segundo adelanto es su versatilidad, que si se perpetua será un gran punto a favor de la banda en estos tiempos de semejante volumen de grupos en la escena internacional. Canciones para una vida - Dragonknight - The Imperator

THE  IMPERATOR

Por lo general, suelo tener ciertos prejuicios a priori sobre el sonido de las bandas japonesas, en general me resultan demasiado diferentes a lo que espero de la música que suelo consumir, a pesar de que el concepto en no pocas ocasiones siga una línea similar a la de las bandas europeas, (sobre todo), a la hora de la ejecución sobre todo en el apartado vocal suelo encontrarme un muro que me cuesta mucho escalar, siempre hay y ha habido excepciones, pero de la bandas recientes el caso de Dragonknight es una rara excepción para mí en la que el hecho de que la parte vocal esté ejecutada por el finlandés Mikael Salo (Metal de Facto, o Everfrost por ejemplo) me resulta un dato determinante. Este grupo japones editará a comienzos del ya cercano 2025, (17 de enero), su debut titulado "Legions", del que en estos días van conociéndose detalles, como su primer adelanto "The Imperator", buena muestra de lo que vengo diciendo y del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.
