Canciones para una vida - Visigoth - Traitor's Gate

TRAITOR'S  GATE

 Otra banda que sigue dando pasos adelante, aun a pesar de ser un grupo que todavía sigue tratando de despuntar ante el gran público son los estadounidenses "Visigoth", quienes con su concepto power un tanto épico, en ocasiones más de corte europeo que de la escuela de la que han salido saben sacra partido a sus composiciones. El regusto a heavy metal clásico es omnipresente en todas las composiciones, (hasta la fecha de esta reseña), y este segundo LP del grupo, "Conqueror's Oath" de 2018 no es una excepción. Disco interesante en su conjunto del que hoy quiero dejar en el blog otra de sus canciones, "Traitor's Gate", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Visigoth - Warrior Queen

WARRIOR  QUEEN


Segundo larga duración de la banda estadounidense "Visigoth" de título "Conqueror's Oath" que verá la luz de forma oficial este próximo 9 de febrero. Por lo que se puede escuchar en este primer adelanto el disco puede seguir la línea de su primera obra "The revenant King" de 2015, por lo tanto debería agradar a todo metalhead que guste del sonido clásico de heavy metal de toda la vida aderezado con ese ambiente épico a base de guitarra más que de teclado como muestra la ausencia del mismo y la alineación con dos guitarras, un ambiente épico que también se muestra en la temática de las letras. Siempre me ha parecido que la banda tiene más un espejo europeo musicalmente hablando que el natural de su origen americano, algo que se ve incluso en la elección del portadista Kris Verpwimp que una vez más ha adornado la obra de Visigoth. El primer adelanto de la nueva obra como digo es este "Warrior queen" del que hoy quiero dejar un enlace a youtube mientras esperamos la salida de la obra completa.

BLOOD SACRIFICE


Visigoth son una banda de power heavy metal con una cierta vocación épica, aunque es una de esas bandas que se han fijado en los grupos clásicos y en su forma de hacer música, olvidándose del tema teclados y de samplers o intrumentos folk, aunque siempre queda ese regusto épico a base de riffs y composiciones, y algunos coros, un interesante grupo del que apenas hay información en la red. De origen Estadounidense, se forman en 2010, habiendo editado hasta le fecha de esta reseña un EP, "Final Spell", en 2012, y un LP, este "The Revenant King", del que hoy quiero dejar una canción en el blog, en este año 2015. Un disco que puede traernos reminiscencias en ocasiones a la primera, y para mi gusto perfecta, primera obra de "Crom", aunque un escaloncito por debajo en cuanto a epicidad y calidad, pero que sin duda ha despertado mi interés por seguir su evolución. Con portada de Kris Verpwimp, para recordarnos un poco más a "Crom", varios temas pueden escogerse de esta obra para presentarlos por vez primera, y hoy he querido escoger este "Blood Sacrifice", una buena canción de la que dejo un enlace a Youtube.
