Los italianos Frozen Crown siguen dando pasos adelante en su carrera. consolidando a la banda con cada nueva obra y afianzandose tras la salida de buena parte de su formación. El alma mater de la banda, principal motor compositivo Federico Mondelli, ha ido sustituyendo las piezas que faltaban para seguir dando forma a este proyecto musical que va haciendose un hueco propio en la escena internacional, cada vez con más miembros femeninos, empezando por su vocalista Giada Etro que lidera la formación desde el inicio en 2017. Su quinto trabajo de estudio "War Hearts" salió a la venta en 2024 y de él dejo hoy en el blog otra de sus canciones, "Ice Dragon" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Parece que la banda italiana Frozen Crown acelera su proceso compositivo, casi tratando de consolidar la gran parte de su fromación que entró a formar parte de la banda en su anterior trabajo del pasado 2023. Hoy como mínimo se antoja como algo raro editar una obra por año, máxime cuando todos los esfuerzos compositivos están tan medidos para administrarse a "cucharaditas" y mantener el interés del gran público ante la descomunal oferta internacional actual. El caso es que en octubre verá la luz el quinto LP de la banda "War hearts" del que siguen adelantando temas, en esta ocasión el que dará nombre a la obra, "War hearts" y del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Como ya hemos comentado, los italianos Frozen crown son una de esas bandas que han sabido sobreponerse a una salida de integrantes casi en masa, para no solo continuar adelante sino además saber seguir creciendo en su historia personal para asentarse en este "Call of the north", su cuarto LP de estudio, de este 2023, ya con nueva formación. De hecho solo guitarrista y cantante permanecen desde que comenzasen en 2017, realmente son una banda bastante nueva aún pero los ecos de sus obras han llegado ya bastante lejos, gracias a su buen hacer como en el tema "legion" del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube.

UNTIL  THE  END

Otro grupo que está en pleno proceso de asentamiento, de confirmación total de un planteamiento son los italianos "Frozen Crown", sobre todo tras una profunda remodelación en la formación que sucedió en 2021, que hizo pensar que la banda aún de crota trayectoria pudiera resentirse definitivamente pero que ha sabido rehacerse con total eficacia. En realidad si nos fijamos en la trayectoria del grupo vemos que son aún una joven banda formada en 2017, pero que han editado cuatro LP's de estudio a buen ritmo a pesar del citado contratiempo, y que han sabido destacar con su power de corte europeo, con rasgos modernos, y un tanto épicos en el oncepto clásico, dandose ese espacio necesario para mantener la atención del gran público. De su último album editado a fecha de esta reseña, "Call of the north" del presente 2023 quiero hoy dejar en el blog otro de sus temas, en concreto "Until the end" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

CALL  OF  THE  NORTH

Ya tenemos aquí los primeros ecos del cuarto LP de estudio de los italianos Frozen Crown, un disco que debe hacerles mantener al sus fieles e intentar atraer a nuevos seguidores después de que en 2020, tras su anterior trabajo, buena parte de la banda dejase la formación quedando solo la mente compositiva, guitarra y teclados Federico Mondelli, y la cabeza visible y cantante Giada "Jade" Etro. Ellos mismos han pretendido un album sin añadir invitados en palabras propias para "consolidar" el sonido de la banda. El caso es que el album verá la luz en el proximo mes de Marzo de 2023, y hoy dejo en el blog el primer single de la misma que es el que dará nombre a la obra, "Call of the north", canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Canciones para una vida - Frozen Crown - The Water Dancer

 

THE  WATER  DANCER

Los italianos "Frozen Crown" son una banda de reciente formación, (2017) que sin embargo a comenzado su carrera a todo trapo, editando este año 2021 su ya tercer LP de estudio, "Winterbane", y habiendose tenido que enfrentar en el pasado 2020 a la salida de gran parte de la banda que iniciase el proyecto, concretamente la guitarrista, el bajista y el batería que han sido sustituidos para afrontar lo que venga en adelante. Para el tercer mencionado disco el proceso de grabación ya habia sido completado cuando se marcharon los integrantes, veremos pues en adelante el calado de las bajas en su futuro cercano como banda. En lo referente a la tercera de las obras vemos que la carrera del grupo, además de rápida, es acertada mostrandose como una de las bandas que más aceptación está recibiendo en tan corto periodo de tiempo, y este "Winterbane" les confirma en dicha línea ascendente. Otra de las ya reseñadas con anterioridad, sorpresas positivas de 2018, que además ha tenido una rápida continuidad en este 2019. Debo decir que me ha gustado más en general el disco debut, este "The fallen kingdom" del que hoy quiero dejar otra de sus canciones en el blog, que "Crowned in frost" de 2019 como decía más arriba, con más elementos death en lo vocal que se entremezclan con la voz limpia sobre todo femenina, una voz femenina que se termina por hacer omnipresente en la segunda obra que por lo tanto pierde un poco esa variedad y riqueza. Hoy quiero pues dejar en el blog la canción "The Shieldmaiden", canción que fue el primer single de la banda y del disco, y de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

ARCTIC  GALES  &  NEVERENDING

 Como lo prometido es deuda en lo referente a traer al blog el nuevo material de la banda italiana "Frozen Crown", y teniendo en cuenta todo lo que rodea a este grupo de reciente formación, quiero hoy dejar en el blog una de las canciones pertenecientes a este "Crowned in frost" del presente 2019. Todo lo dicho para el grupo y el disco debut de "Frozen crown" está completamente vigente en esta segunda entrega, solo que además hay que añadir que van dejando atrás, con este paso adelante, lo de futura promesa para ser un grupo que apuesta con fuerza por abrirse camino hacia la cima, con esa mezcla entre un sonido que bebe del mejor de los sonidos clásicos y la frescura de los tiempos que corren para hacer un sonido que puede gustar tanto a los más curtidos metalheads como a las generaciones más nuevas. Buen ejemplo es su primer single, "Neverending" del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Canciones para una vida - Frozen Crown - I Am The Tyrant

I  AM  THE  TYRANT

Frozen Crown es una banda italiana que practica un sonido a medio camino de varias cosas, con un innegable aire moderno también tiene una base power y un cierto flirteo con pasages de voz gutural, que alterna en ocasiones con la voz principal femenina. Frozen Crown se han formado recientemente y sin embargo han decidido ser de esos grupos que han puesto el listón compositivo alto sacando 2 disco en apenas dos años, el último de ellos del presente 2019 y del que hablaré proximamente en el blog. Tras la banda se encuentra como principal impulsor el músico multi instrumentista Federico Mondelli, guitarra, bajo teclados y voz, que ejerce también como voz y coros en sus obras además de ser el principal compositor del grupo. Hoy quiero traer al blog el primero de los, hasta la fecha de esta reseña, discos que han editado, de título "The fallen king", de 2018 y del que hoy quiero dejar la canción "I Am The Tyrant", muy al estilo de los suecos "Brothers of metal", y de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
