Los alemanes Silverlane son una de esas bandas que llegado el momento del relanzamiento de su carrera hacen que te preguntes, pero estos tíos donde se habían metido y por que llevan más de una década en silencio, es decir, son una de esas bandas que aún habiendo demostrado el tremendo potencial que atesoran, no han llegado al gran público, y teniendo una corta discografía se han diluido en el anonimato a pesar del citado potencial demostrado. El caso es que este 2022 ha sido el año escogido por la banda para relanzar su carrera editando su tercer LP de estudio, "III Inside Internal Infinity" cuya salida oficial se produjo el pasado 22 de enero. Para los que no conozcan a la banda, practican un heavy power melódico, de corte europeo y con tintes modernos, aunque solo en detalles. Con respecto a su material pasado, para este relanzamiento de su carrera muestran novedades en la formación en el puesto de cantante y batería, pero el transfondo de la banda parece permanecer intacto en sus propósitos compositivos. Hoy dejo en el blog uno de los temas que componen este tercer LP, concretamente la canción "Blessed" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Silverlane - The Dark Side In You

THE DARK SIDE IN YOU

Silverlane es una banda alemana que hace un power metal de corte clásico y de buena ejecución. Formados en 2005, el grupo surge de la semilla de la banda "The Rising Force", ya que la mayoría de los integrantes de Silverlane militaban en esa banda que estuvo activa entre los años 1996 y 2005, editando dos UP's (1998 y 2003) y un LP en 2000. Deciden cambiar su nombre a "Silverlane" en 2005 como digo, habiendo editado bajo este nombre dos discos de estudio, "My Inner Demon" en 2009 y el fantástico "Above the others" en 2010. Teóricamente siguen en activo hoy en día, aunque llevan desde 2010 sin dar señales de actividad en estudio. Esta segunda y última obra de estudio de la banda, "Above the others" de 2010, resulta un disco francamente bueno, de cuidadas composiciones  con grandes y de calidad aportaciones en los teclados, unas potentes guitarras y un excelente trabajo vocal por parte de Ecky Singer, quien ya no milita en la banda según parece, actualmente en la banda "Miracle Master", y al que le sobra caudal de voz, y por supuesto, una consistente presencia de la batería, a cargo de Simon Michael Schmitt , actualmente batería de la banda "Subway to Sally". Volviendo al disco, muchas son las canciones a destacar de este "Above the others" del que podemos decir que es un disco muy completo, del que hoy quiero destacar otra de sus canciones, en concreto "The dark side in you", melódica, fácil y enganchona desde la primera escucha, realmente un disco mucho más que interesante y que recomiendo escuchar por su calidad.
