Canciones para una vida - Lux Perpetua - Conan

 

CONAN

Los polacos Lux Perpetua ya me dejaron en el pasado un grandísimo sabor de boca con su debut en formato LP "The curse of the iron king", de 2017, una obra en clave de power metal que me hizo poner el foco en ellos y de vez en cuando visito su actividad con la esperanza de ver un sucesor a dicho debut que por otra parte parece no llegar nunca, una pena si se quedan en solo esa magnífica obra pero habiendo pasado ya siete años desde entonces empiezo a temer por su continuidad. De todas maneras, echando un vistazo a su primer material editado, "Forever we stand" en formato EP, de 2014, no he podido resistirme a escucharlo, y en cuanto he leido el nombre de su tema central "Conan" me ha faltado tiempo para sumergirme en uno de mis personajes preferidos, máxime al encontrarme estractos de la banda sonora original de la pelicula original del 82, inmenso Basil Poledouris en esta una de las mejores bandas sonoras para mi gusto de la historia del cine, el caso es que el tema después evoluciona al margen de la melodía mencionada, yendo y viniendo, pero ese aura épica permanece así que no he podido resistirme a dejarlo en el blog.

AN  OLD  BARD

Tercera ocasión en la que acudo a esta obra y esta banda aún completamente desconocida, los polacos "Lux Perpetua". Si algo puede decirse de esta obra y de su estilo sería que se trata de un compendio de lo que debe ser un disco de power europeo de manual, con todos y cada uno de los clichés esperados en el subgénero que hará las delicias de los amantes del mismo. Poco más que añadir que lo hecho en las anteriores citadas entradas, tan solo dejar esta otra canción perteneciente a la misma, "The curse of the iron king" de 2017, concretamente "An old bard" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

THE  LEGEND

Vuelvo a traer al blog a la banda polaca "Lux Perpetua" de cuyo único LP hasta la fecha de esta reseña, "The curse of the iron king" de 2017 ya deje una de sus canciones. Poco más que añadir a lo dicho en la anterior ocasión, disco hecho para los amantes del power de corte clásico y europeo, que creo que tiene como una de sus virtudes la consistencia de la obra, con un tono general de alto nivel, sin rellenos y que resulta ser un buen inicio para la carrera de la banda. Parece que a finales del recién pasado 2018 han editado de forma digital un single, "Husaria" con un tema nuevo, el citado "Husaria" y uno en vivo perteneciente a este su único album hasta la fecha, "The curse of the iron king". En fin, dejo la canción "The legend" hoy en el blog, buen ejemplo de ese alto nivel que toda la obra atesora y que me hará seguir los pasos futuros que dará el grupo. CURSE  OF  THE  IRON  KING

Otra banda nueva, (o bastante nueva mejor dicho, sobre todo bajo el nombre de "Lux Perpetua" puesto que como "Sentinel" llevan desde 2004 juntos). En definitiva, sería hablar con mayor propiedad decir que el grupo no ha editado material propio bajo el nombre de "Lux Perpetua" hasta 2014, en forma de un EP, "Forever we stand". Originarios de Polonia, su sonido es un Power metal absolutamente de corte europeo, una banda que gustará a los amantes del género que tanto se prodigó desde la mitad de la década de los noventa hasta la mitad de la de los 2000. En 2017 con la inclusión de nuevo cantante editan su primer LP, "The curse of the Iron King", un disco como decía más arriba perfecto para los amantes del power metal desde la perspectiva europea, incluida la temática épica de las letras. Hay apoyo en los teclados para las melodías y un trabajo vocal bueno y personal no "cojeando" el grupo en ningún apartado. Hoy quiero dejar una canción de su LP de 2017, concretamente la que da nombre a la obra, "Curse of the iron king" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
