SET  THE  SAILS

2025 será testigo de la publicación del quinto LP de estudio de los alemanes "Storm Seeker", que llevará por título "Set the sails" y que verá la luz de manera oficial el 14 de marzo. La banda innegablemente va dando pasos adelante en su carrera y eso se nota en sus composiciones, algo que personalmente he notado mucho en su anterior trabajo "Nautic Force" de 2023. Un par de temas han adelantado ya de la nueva obra como por ejemplo el que dará nombre a la misma, "Set the sails" y del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube.

Nuevo single de los germanos "Storm Seeker" que redunda en lo expuesto en anteriores entradas, estamos ante uno de esos grupos en franco crecimiento, con una propuesta y un nicho sonoro cada vez más personales, con la mezcla justa de elementos varios que les va dando la personalidad que les diferencia de otras bandas. Como digo el nuevo single "Miles and miles" es una nueva prueba de lo dicho, el cuarto ya del grupo antes de que salga su nuevo album "Nautic force" para finales de abril. ROLLING  HOME 

Ante todo la sensación que me queda con esta banda es la misma obra tras obra, crecimiento, desde ese humilde inicio en formato EP que paso tan de puntillas en 2016, a un aumento de calidad en una carrera meteórica con cuatro LP's en apenas cuatro años explotanto un nicho sonoro digamos muy germano, y en el que encontramos las dosis justas de muchas cosas en un gran equilibrio. El segundo adelanto de su cuarto LP lleva por título "Rolling Home" y de él dejo hoy un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

HEAVAWAY

Poco a poco, casi sin hacer ruido, la banda alemana "Storm Seeker" va dando pasos adelante en su carrera y, a punto de cumplir una década de existencia, en estos días muestran el primer adelanto del que será su tercer LP de estudio, "Nautic Force" que espera su publicación para el mes de abril del inminente ya 2023. Realmente podría incluso considerarse como su cuarto LP si consideramos como tal al album de versiones propias "Calm Seas Vol 1". Sea como fuere se ve que la banda va en franco crecimiento, y van haciendose un hueco y un nombre apoyandose en un buen hacer obra tras obra. Han encontrado un filón en la temática marítima, y con ella siguen en "nautic Force" aparentemente. Dejo en el blog su clip oficial de su primer single de adelanto, "Heavaway".

Canciones para una vida - Storm Seeker - How To Be A Pirate

 

HOW  TO  BE  A  PIRATE

A comienzos del presente año 2021 loa alemanes "Storm Seeker" dieron su segundo paso en lo que a LP's se refiere, en su carrera musical, un disco que sin duda sirve de confirmación en lo propuesto en su anterior disco y no solo, sino que además muestra un paso adelante en calidad, y muestra un futuro próximo más que brillante para lo que esté por venir. Una vez más el ambiente corsario, en el formato "Alestorm" parece ser el espejo en el que mirarse, una fórmula que parece haber calado en más de una banda, y no es para menos viendo la aceptación que el material de los escoceses ha tenido en la escena internacional. Se nota, como digo, un crecimiento general de la banda y de este segundo LP de 2021, "Guns don't cry" quiero hoy dejar en el blog una de sus canciones, concretamente la que abre la obra, "How to be a pirate", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

DARKEST  OF  CAVES

Otra banda más que se acerca al concepto corsario como guía compositiva, son los alemanes "Storm Seeker" quienes, a pesar de su origen han escogido un sonido más cercano al propuesto por los escoceses Alestorm que al clásico (e insuperable) de sus compatriotas Running Wild, y en el comienzo de su carrera aún ya han demostrado un potencial que este año han continuado en su segundo LP. Aún no he tenido la ocasión de escuchar el nuevo material pero llevo ya tiempo queriendo traer su sonido al blog y quiero hacerlo a través de su debut, "Beneath in the cold" de 2019. Podriamos definir al grupo como una banda versátil que dá un aire folk a sus composiciones y que alterna voces femeninas y masculinas y además con diferentes registros dando una riqueza grande y variación a sus composiciones. Autoeditado el disco resulta entretenido y promete mostrar un camino el horizonte que veremos hasta donde nos lleva.
