Canciones para una vida - Percival - Men In Armor

MEN  IN  ARMOR

Lo que en un principio podía parecer una banda más que aparecía en el firmamento sonoro internacional va poco a poco tomando forma a medida que su carrera va dando pasos adelante, se trata de los argentinos Percival quien en una clave de heavy metal de corte y aspiraciones épicas ha editado, a fecha de esta reseña dos LP's de estudio, el último de ellos el pasado 2023, y que en este 2024 trata de mantenerse a la vista de todos editando un nuevo single, quien sabe si preludio del tercer album del que aún no tengo constancia. El título del nuevo tema es "Men in armor" y de él dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube.

     VALIANT

Evidenciando su asentamiento tras su debut de 2021, los argentintos Percival vuelven a la carga con "The seventh seal" en la misma onda heavy metal de corte épico, y de momento de forma independiente, desarrollando su sonido de una forma homogénea, dejandonos un disco bastante completo, sin destacar algunos temas sobre otros, su fuerza parece estar en el conjunto de las obras. Hoy dejo en el blog otro de los temas que componen la obra, concretamente "Valiant" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Canciones para una vida - Percival - Hold On Tight

 

HOLD  ON  TIGHT

Aún sin sello discográfico que les apoye, a pesar del magnífico trabajo que presentaron en su debut, los argentinos "Percival" se disponen a dar su segundo paso en forma de LP, "The seventh seal" obra que ha visto la luz de forma oficial el 18 de este mes de agosto. La verdad es que aún no he tenido tiempo de escuchar entero el disco, pero me basta con la promesa de los adelantos y la del pasado debut que me pareció suficientemente interesante para que hoy debieran tener alguna discográfica detrás promocionando su potencial. Quiero dejar en el blog uno de esos mencionados adelantos, concretamente "Hold on tight" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

CUP  OF  GOLD

Nuevo material de estudio de los argentinos "Percival", en esta ocasión en formato single, una canción que por el momento no tengo noticias de que preceda a un nuevo LP, pero que desde luego deja clara la confirmación de lo demostrado en su primer LP, esas buenas sensaciones que me dejo su "Riders of the sun" de 2021 se refrendan en este tema, "Cup Of Gold", en esa misma clave de heavy power metal de corte épico, una vez más autoproducido, y una vez más debería más de una discográfica fijarse en el potencial de estos chicos para darles un poquito de apoyo. Canciones para una vida - Percival - Twilight Of The Gods

 

TWILIGHT  OF  THE  GODS

Otra banda que da sus primeros pasos compositivos en estos días de 2021 es "Percival", de origen argentino y que gusta del subgénero power para expresar sus inquietudes compositivas. Poco hay por ahí de lo referente a los origenes musicales de sus componentes, pero si que hay noticias de que detras de la producción y como apoyo de la banda está gente de "Triddana" prestando ayuda  alos inicios de este prometedor grupo. A pesar de haberse formado el grupo en 2015, uu primer LP como digo, que se titula "Riders of the sun", ha visto la luz de forma oficial este pasado 22 de abril. Calificados con el adjetivo de "Epic" power metal uno de los detalles que me ha gustado es en el apartado vocal en ciertos momentos un aire un tanto "Kotipelto" y desde luego para mí ha sido una grata sorpresa despertando expectativas futuras sobre lo que pueda venir de estos chicos. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una de las canciones que componen este debut, concretamente "Twilight of the gods" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
