TYR - The Guardian Lie

THE  GUARDIAN  LIE

That which we bind and we leave behind where
The river of tears and of blood runs high
Unfetters our fate when the wolf can't wait we
Deliver the guardian lie

So, here I stand
Under oath and a darkened sky
Short of a hand
By the treasonous tools of my
Trade forging vows
That we know as will time unveil
Lawcraft allows
Given grounds we may well let fail

Now, tell me true
I have bound the beast, have I not
I saw it through
Took thе lead and did only what
Had to be done
Lеst the war-breeding wolf consume
Even the sun
A deceit to defer our doom

That which we bind and we leave behind where
The river of tears and of blood runs high
Unfetters our fate when the wolf can't wait we
Deliver the guardian lie
In truth it was all I could try
Deliver the guardian lie

Look, where we stand
By our craving for novelty
Lost all command
To our vain generosity
Late comes the dawn
Is it true that we only learn
When all is gone
And we're watching all nine worlds burn

That which we bind and we leave behind where
The river of tears and of blood runs high
Unfetters our fate when the wolf can't wait we
Deliver the guardian lie
Let none of you dare to deny
Deliver the guardian lie

That which we bind and we leave behind where
The river of tears and of blood runs high
Unfetters our fate when the wolf can't wait we
Deliver the guardian lie
You backstabbers gladly stood by
Deliver the guardian lie

Which we bind and we leave behind where
The river of tears and of blood runs high
Unfetters our fate when the wolf can't wait we
Deliver the guardian lie
In truth it is all we can try
Deliver the guardian lie
