BLACK  SAILS

Normalmente huyo de las bandas con la etiqueta de symphonic power metal con cantante femenina, es demasiado el tema operístico para mí, sin embargo es de justicia buscar al menos entre las muchas bandas que han escogido ese sendero ya que siempre puede encontrarse la excepción que confirme la regla (para mí, por supuesto), y esta banda puede entrar en esos parámetros míos, Kalidia, desde Italia, una banda formada en 2010 y que a fecha de esta reseña ha editado tres LP's de estudio entre 2014 y 2021 a los que añadir su primer material en formato EP en 2012. Se trata de un power sinfónico, como ya he dicho, pero en el apartado vocal encontramos una forma de cantar digamos "normal", sin tesituras opereta, a lo que se le puede añadir un gran trabajo compositivo en lo que a melodías se refiere, un buen ejemplo es este "Black Sails" de su segund LP "The frozen throne" de 2018, una canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
