THE  TALISMAN  AND  THE  BLADE

Muchas veces datos como el origen de una banda y la portada de su obra dan pistas más que suficientes de por donde van a ir los tiros de su sonido, en este caso los canadienses Smoulder no pueden negar su influencia del heavy metal épico que en su día, desde ese lado del charco, bandas como Manilla Road u Omen sembraron en muchos músicos de su época, e incluso como es el caso de varias generaciones posteriores. Estamos ante un grupo, Smoulder, formado en 2013, así que ya cuenta con una cierta trayectoria a sus espaldas. y a fecha de esta reseña cuentan con dos LP's de estudio (2019 y 2023) a los que añadir un EP entre medias, (2020). de su último trabajo publicado "Violent creed of vengeance" quiero dejar hoy en el blog una de sus canciones, "The talisman and the blade", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
