WORDS OF FATE

Sharp is the axe that cleaves the oak
Long is the sword that kills our foes
High is the smoke that rises tonight
Heavy is the hammer that forges the soul
Mirror of the lake, reflect the stars
Show us the path to take, to lands afar
Written in the void above, etched in the stone below
Legends of our ancestors in the wars of old
Words of fate
Guide you to the end
Through deaths gate
Ride with fury in hand
Though we may fall
In song we live on
To the end of our world
Our souls have gone
Hard is the path through the falling snow
Dark is the sky in a land so cold
Loud is the roar from the frozen wind
Silent is the soul dying from within
Through the frozen waste, to the touch of the sea
Stars guide us through the mountains, to the highest peak
Clouds drift in a sea below where war awaits
Descend now into the storm of snow where we meet our fate
Ready the spear for one last throw
Hone the sword for the final blow
Darkness swallows the burning sun
Prepare now to ride into oblivion
Voice of the olden king
Grant us fire, give us strength
Charge into the slaughtering
Tide of death, blood red sea
Last hour of the failing light
Ride for death in the endless night
Fire of this burning soul
Only in death are we immortal
Words of fate
Guide you to the end
Through deaths gate
Ride with fury in hand
Though we may fall
In song we live on
To the end of our world
Our souls have gone
