WAITING FOR THE THUNDER

Hoy quiero volver a una de las bandas por excelencia de esta nuestra música, los alemanes Helloween para hablar de la parte final de su carrera musical, en concreto de su decimocuarto disco de estudio, y penúltimo hasta la fecha de esta reseña, un discazo la verdad. En esta obra la banda recupera ese espíritu "happy" que le ha caracterizado en muchos tramos de su carrera, encontrándonos un un disco bastante accesible y que llega enseguida al oyente. Según el propio Deris ha confirmado en alguna entrevista hay una clara intencionalidad en esta obra por recuperar es espíritu "happy helloween" tras su anterior obra, "7 Sinners" de 2010, más oscura en cuanto a su concepto. El album fue muy bien recibido en general por público y crítica, picando puestos altos en las listas de ventas de medio mundo y vendiendo más de 90.000 copias solo e 2013. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog uno de los muchos posibles temas a escoger de esta obra, concretamente su "Waiting for the thunder", una canción que habla de cuando cometemos un error y esperamos el castigo (cármicamente hablando), un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
