THE GLORY OF THULSA DOOM

Parece ser que hoy tengo el día "Bárbaro", así que nada, otra nueva banda que hace referencia continua al bárbaro por excelencia, el personaje creado por Robert E Howard, Conan El Bárbaro y la mitología que le rodea, la Era Hyborea, Cimmeria, e incluso Kull de Atlantis y su archienemigo Thulsa Doom, del que la banda saca el nombre. Musicalmente hablando nos encontramos ante un grupo con una base heavy metal, un tanto oscurecida, algo que se nota en el apartado vocal mucho, y que flirtea incluso en ocasiones con una estructura un tanto Thrash, aunque ni de lejos llegan a ir por ahí los tiros, con mucha más melodía e incluso pasajes instrumentales bastante atmosféricos y con buenos arreglos épicos, por lo tanto estamos ante un Heavy-Power-black-thrasy metal, (casi nada). Tulsadoom se forman en 2007 en Austria, y hasta la fecha de esta reseña han editado dos LP's, en 2012 y 2015. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog un tema de su debut, "Barbarian Steel", en concreto su "The glory of Thulsa Doom", de 2012, donde no dejan lugar a dudas de por donde van sus tiros musicales, un tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
