THE PROPHECY & DEAD EYES


Otra banda de heavy metal clásico perdido entre la prolífica marea de los 80 que dejó en la escena internacional innumerables bandas de las que muchas, independientemente de su calidad u origen simplemente no tuvieron cabida en la abarrotada escena musical metálica pasando de puntillas por ella para la mayoría del público general, otro ejemplo fue "Speed Limit", una banda austriaca de heavy metal old school, propietaria de un sonido un poco a medio camino entre el sonido europeo y el americano. La banda se forma en 1979 y ha tenido dos épocas de actividad, una primera entre 1979 y 1994, y una segunda más reciente desde 2008 en adelante. A lo largo de su periodo de actividad han editado 3 LP's y un EP. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog un tema del comienzo de su carrera, concretamente de su EP "prophecy", de 1988. El tema se titula "Dead eyes" junto con su intro "the prophecy", un tema que nos enseña perfectamente bien el potencial del grupo, y del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube.
