THUNDER AND LIGHTNING

Otra banda más rescatada de las raíces de nuestra música y una vez más una banda que se ha reunido en el siglo 21 tras un periodo de actividad en los 80 seguido de otro aún más largo de inactividad. Se trata de los alemanes Cannon, un grupo que facturaba un heavy metal de corte clásico, en ocasiones en su material ochentero con un cierto aire Accept, salvando las diferencias. Formados en 1986, de su primera época solo dejaron evidencia de su buen hacer a través de su primer LP, este "Thunder and lightning" del que hoy quiero dejar un tema en el blog, un disco de 1988 tras el que, 8 años más tarde se retiran sin editar nada más. Su vuelta sucederá en 2003, a través de un curioso EP en el que hacían versiones de AC/DC. Tras ese primer material tras su reunión su carrera se ha completado con tres LP's más permaneciendo aún en activo aunque su último material editado se remonta ya a 2012. Como decía más arriba, hoy quiero dejar en el blog un tema de su primer LP, "Thunder and lightning", de 1988, en concreto el tema homónimo al título del disco, "Thunder and lightning", del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
