THE WARRIORS HEART

Sonic Prophecy es una banda estadounidense que hace un heavy power metal con una temática épico fantástica y un sonido más propio de lo que se espera de una banda europea que de lo que se espera de una estadounidense, y es que la influencia de bandas europeas según el propio grupo ha declarado es grande. Formada en 2008, la banda comienza creando algunos temas propios que presentaba en vivo incluso antes de realizar su demo. Así, en 2009, abre para TYR y Alestorm dandose a conocer en Estados Unidos en el "Pagan Knights Tour". Más adelante, ese mismo año y ante las buenas críticas recibidas deciden grabar su demo - EP "2009 EP", que recibe igualmente varias menciones y buenos presagios siguiendo abriendo directos para bandas tan consagradas como Ratt, Cinderella, Accept o Sabaton. En 2010 deciden que deben dar un nuevo paso adelante comenzando la producción de su primer LP, que vería la luz en 2011, “A Divine Act of War”, un disco más que interesante, un debut que prometía mucho y que lo cumplía, y del que hablaremos más adelante en el blog. Posteriormente, ya en 2015, y tras firmar con el sello "Maple Metal Records", han editado este segundo LP, “Apocalyptic Promenade”, del que hoy quiero dejar una canción en el blog, un disco más sinfónico aún que el anterior y que combina un sonido muy melódico con una gran dosis de power metal de corte clásico y muy europeo, sobre todo para ser Yankees. Quiero dejar hoy en el blog el tema, "The Warriros heart", una canción con una base de heavy metal tradicional con aspiraciones power y una clara vocación épica, de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
