RUNAWAYS

Oz es una banda de heavy metal originaria de Finlandia, que ha permanecido activa durante dos épocas, la primera de ellas, desde su formación en 1977 hasta su separación en 1991. Durante ese periodo editaron 5 discos de estudio más un EP, y su música se centraba en un heavy metal de corte clásico con una cierta influencia de sonido británico de la NWOBHM. La banda la forman Mark Ruffneck a la batería, y Ape de Martini en la voz. En 1982 se les une J. C. Blade al bajo. Estos músicos resultan ser el núcleo permanente de la banda a lo largo de toda su historia. En el puesto de guitarrista la lista de músicos ha sido siempre más breve y extensa. La segunda época de su historia comienza en 2010 cuando deciden reunirse para sacar en 2011 su sexta obra de estudio y teóricamente seguir en activo en la actualidad. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una canción de su quinto disco de estudio, el último antes de su separación, de título "Roll the dice", del año 1991, del que quiero destacar la canción "Runaways", de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
