Canciones para una vida - Holyhell - Eclipse

ECLIPSE

Holyhell son un grupo estadounidense de power metal apadrinados por sus compatriotas y paisanos neoyorkines Manowar. Holyhell se forma en 2005, por Rhino, batería ex de Manowar entre otras muchas bandas, Tom Hess a la guitarra, Joe Stump a la guitarra, Jay Rigney al bajo, en los teclados Francisco Palomo y a la voz Maria Breon. Es un grupo como decía al comienzo apadrinado por Manowar quien produjo la primera obra del grupo a través de Joey DeMaio y su discográfica "Magic circle music", de la que ya hemos hablado en alguna de las entradas de Manowar, donde ya dijimos que Joey DeMaio, bajista, guitarrista y teclista de Manowar toma la determinación en 2003 de crear su propio sello musical, "Magic Circle Music", con la idea de que la banda sea absolutamente autosuficiente y con la de dar cobijo musical a otras bandas acordes al estilo "Manowar". Pues bien, una de esas bandas es "Holyhell", con un sonido muy Manowar, sobre todo en algunos momentos, y como decíamos al comienzo de esta reseña, con algún exmiembro de dicha banda en su formación, en concreto el batería Rhino, quien en 2011 abandona el grupo siendo sustituido por John Macaluso , un músico con una carrera que le ha hecho tocar con infinidad de bandas, algunas tan importantes como "Symphony X", Riot, o Yngwie Malmsteen. Con buenos músicos y apadrinados por una banda de la categoría de Manowar, el resultado final merece la pena al menos ser escuchado, sobre todo si eres seguidor de los true metaleros por excelencia,  pues realmente en muchas ocasiones se nota la mano de Manowar tras Holyhell, una banda que ha editado tan solo un larga duración y dos EP's desde 2007. Hoy quiero dejar una canción de su LP "Holyhell", de 2009, de la que quiero dejar en el blog la canción "Eclipse", un tema en el que como decía se nota la mano de "Manowar", y del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
