A TRIBUTE TO THE PAST
Banda, proyecto, tributo, cualquiera de los tres conceptos englobado en un solo grupo, pues de todo ello tiene este "Treasure Seeker", de 1998, banda porque a pesar de no haber realizado más que este LP se comportan musicalmente con la compenetración de un grupo duradero, proyecto, porque se juntaron músicos de contrastada trayectoria y valía para crear este disco, así, encontramos a gente como Olaf Hayer a la voz cuando aún no había alcanzado la fama internacional que alcanzaría años más tarde, (Dionysus, Luca Turilli, etc.), Andy Gutjahr a la guitarra, (Ex de Seventh Avenue, Tankard, etc), Marc Piras a la guitarra , (Ex de Trust), Willi Hieb al bajo, (Ex de Seventh Avenue), y Danilo Batdorf a la batería. y finalmente tributo, condición que también cumplen ya que, como reza el título de su única obra "A tribute to the past", rinden un homenaje a grupos de los llamados "Christian metal" y canciones clásicas del heavy metal de esas bandas, de esta manera todas las canciones del disco son versiones de bandas como Saint, Stryper, Leviticus, Boodgood, Rez, Jerusalem, Force 3, Bride o Creed, salvo la que da título al disco que ha sido compuesta para la ocasión. Pues bien, este tema compuesto expresamente para la obra, " A tribute to the past", es el que dejo hoy en el blog, tema que abre el disco y del que hoy dejo un enlace a yotube.
