Canciones para una vida - Aska - Valkyries

VALKYRIES

Lo primero, o de lo primero que acudirá a nuestra cabeza al escuchar el sonido de esta banda estadounidense es que este disco tiene que ser de 1986 o algo así, pero no, es la esencia de su música lo que es de esa época ochentera, y en mi humilde opinión eso tiene mucho más de piropo que de otra cosa. Aska, y su concepto clásico de heavy metal se forman en 1990, y se nota que mamaron bien de este sonido clásico antes de empezar y en sus inicios, y han querido permanecer fieles a él con el paso de los años y de su carrera musical, una carrera musical que ha dado para 6 LP's y un EP. Su debut es "Aska" de 1994, y su última obra hasta la fecha de esta reseña es "Fire eater", de 2013, así pues, a pesar de una carrera no demasiado llena de producciones a juzgar por lo dilatada de esta, si que conviene destacar que en todas sus obras yo encuentro algo destacable, y recomiendo darle una escucha en general porque tendréis más de una sorpresa positiva, sobre todo si os gusta el espíritu clásico del heavy metal. Hoy quiero dejar un tema de su cuarto larga duración, "Avenger", de 2000, del que hoy quiero destacar su canción "Valkyries", buena carta de presentación para el grupo, y de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
