NIGHT AFTER NIGHT

En esta ocasión quiero hablar de la banda alemana Steeler, hogar musical del genial guitarrista Axel Rudi Pell antes de que comenzara su carrera en solitario. No hay que confundir a estos Steeler de Alemania con los Steeler estadounidenses, practicamente de la misma época y también hogar temporal musicalmente hablando de otro genio de las 6 cuerdas, Yngwie Malmsteen. Musicalmente hablando me parecen incomparables ambos grupos, por calidad y cantidad prefiero a los alemanes, y es de los que hoy hablaremos. Los Steeler de Axel Rudi Pell,  comienzan como "Sinner" en 1981, y  no será hasta 1983 en que adopten esa denominación de "Steeler"con la que funcionarán hasta el fin de la banda alla por 1988 con su "Undercover animal", disco tras el que la banda cesa su actividad comenzando Axel Rudi Pell su carrera en solitario ya en 1989. Tienen 4 discos de estudio, el primero de ellos de 1984, de un heavy metal de corte clásico con influencia hacia el hard 'n' heavy. La banda la forman Peter Burtz a la voz, Axel Rudi Pell en la guitarra, Tom Eder también en la guitarra, Volker Krawczak al bajo, y Jan Yildiral a la batería. En esta ocasión quiero dejar una canción de su tercera obra de estudio, "Strike Back", de 1986, penúltimo disco de la banda antes de su separación, y una obra recomendable en conjunto, sobre todo para ver la evolución musical de Axel Rudi Pell que hace sin duda notar que está tras esas composiciones y su toque esta presente.
