Dragonforce - Burning Heart (Feat. Alissa White Gluz) - Canciones Para Una Vida

BURNING  HEART 

 Los británicos Dragonheart han hecho completamente de su sonido característico toda una declaración de principios, una franquicia practicamente, reconocible al instante solo variando algunos aspectos respecto a lo que se considera power de corte europeo, y eso les ha llevado al siguiente nivel de éxito en una carrera  que se extiende ya a lo largo de un par de décadas, desde comienzos de siglo. Otro de los pasos a explotar es el de las colaboraciones, y para esta ocasión han recurrido a la conocida y deslumbrante vocalista de Arch Enemy Alissa White-Gluz, que ayuda a dar forma a este "Burning Heart" originalmente incluido en su última obra de 2024 "Warp Speed Warriors", que en estos días nos deja la banda y del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Helloween - This Is Tokyo - Canciones Para Una Vida

THIS  IS  TOKYO 

Uno se da cuenta del poder de convocatoria de una banda de las grandes, como Helloween, más un mito que un grupo al uso, cada vez que ofrecen al gran público una nueva propuesta compositiva, y desde el anterior trabajo "Helloween" de 2021, el disco de la reunión y mega refuerzo de la banda, que sirvió para quitarse la curiosidad de hasta donde podía llegar la disparatada idea de un Helloween con tanta gente junta, este disco debe ser el de la confirmación de que la idea es viable, y pueda pensarse en una carrera de la banda a largo plazo con este formato. Sabaton - Hordes Of Khan - Canciones Para Una Vida

Recordemos que los suecos Sabaton llevan sin sacar un LP desde el año 2022, y a pesar de que desde ese momento han editado tres EP's, los dos singles de este 2025, ("Templars" y este "Hordes of Khan") hacen presagiar un nuevo LP a la vista del que aún no tengo noticias como tal. La verdad es que del último trabajo de los suecos Tungsten, echaba eb falta una canción del tipo de este single que ahora nos presentan suelto, una suerte de power ballad para las que tienen también una habilidad especial, así, "Cry for the fallen" habría cabido perfectamente en su disco "The grand inferno" de 2024, pero, la industria demanda demasiada presencia de las bandas en la actualidad, no se puede permitir un grupo pasarse demasiados meses sin dar señales de vida compositiva puesto que muchos de los fans son, o somos de memoria fragil sobre todo con la enorme oferta actual a nivel global, sea como sea presentan este tema "Cry for the fallen" en este 2025 y de él dejo en el blog un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Que gran noticia es siempre que una de tus bandas saque material nuevo, y este es mi caso de hoy con este single de los alemanes Grailknights, ese grupo que puede despistar por su puesta en escena pero desde luego son una garantía de calidad y buen hacer compositivo. Desde 2022 no sacan LP de estudio y puede ser este tema la primera pista de un disco nuevo esperemos que proximamente, a juzgar por este single la banda se encuentra en plena forma compositiva. Los italianos Crystal Skull, o lo que viene a ser lo mismo el músico Claudio Livera, y su proyecto musical en el que se encarga de todo menos la batería, vuelve a sacar un nuevo single en este 2025, "Stormbreaker" que será el anticipo de su segundo LP de estudio "Arcane Tales" cuya salida oficial se espera para este mes de junio. Este grupo - proyecto personal, comenzó 2007, pero hasta 2020 no vio como tomaba forma en lo que a publicación de material se refiere a través de su debut en formato LP "Ancient tales", una fórmula de heavy power de vocación épica muy al estilo de las bandas italianas y griegas, sin adornos, fórmula que parece repetirse aquí a juzgar por su primer adelanto "Stormbreaker" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Prehistoria - Dreamchaser - Canciones Para Una Vida

 

DREAMCHASER 

Primera obra de los estadounidenses Prehistoria, una banda de las que siguen un camino compositivo que coge los elementos power que más le convienen de ambos lados del charco, un poco en una onda Judicator, que por momentos parecen cultivar un sonido más basado en melodía al estilo europeo, también en lo vocal con un regusto blindguardianesco sobre todo en la forma de entonar, pero con esa constante y machacona tela guitarrera llena de riffs muy del gusto del power americano. Formados en 2020 su primer LP "Cryptic halo" viene precedido por un EP de 2022, que ya les puso en la escena internacional con grandes perspectivas para el futuro, algo que con este primer LP se confirma absolutamente por ejemplo a través de este "Dreamchaser" del que dejo hoy un enlace a youtube.

Under Ruins - Moonlit Requiem - Canciones Para Una Vida

MOONLIT  REQUIEM 

Interesante banda germana de reciente formación, Under Ruins, creada en 2023, y que en este 2025 deja su debut en formato LP "Age of the void" publicado el pasado 2 de mayo. Hablamos de una propuesta que bebe de varias influencias, al final es una suerte de heavy power pero con un cierto aire progresivo que también muestran en la longitud media de sus canciones, con una presentación vocal en ocasiones muy americana, un grupo al que prestar atención, por lo hecho, por lo que prometen y por la atención extra que pueden requerir en esa propuesta más progresiva que queda patente por ejemplo en este "Moonlit Requiem" cocinado un poco a medio gas, tema del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Este 2025 ha sido testigo de la publicación del décimo album de estudio de la banda italiana Labyrinth, uno de esos grupos clásicos que ha dejado importantes capítulos en la historia de nuestra música. La figura musical de Olaf Thorsen (Carlo Andrea Magnani), ha estado siempre tras las composiciones del grupo, siendo motor innegable del mismo a lo largo del tiempo, tarea esta que ha complementadp con Vision Divine casi desde el inicio, y ultimamente con Shinning Black. HEADBANGERS  HEAVEN

Los alemanes "Then Comes The Night" son una banda de las que es dificil encasillar en un solo género, siempre melódicos saltan a un lado y otro del hard rock y el heavy para crear una propuesta personal desde su formación en 2019. Desde su último LP en 2023 "return of the kingdom of Fife" los escoceses Gloryhammer han editado un single "individual" por año, y en este 2025 el tema es "On a quest for Aberdeen" que hoy quiero dejar en el blog. Axel Rudi Pell - Eternal Prisioner - Canciones Para Una Vida

 

ETERNAL  PRISIONER 

Si diferenciamos la carrera de Axel Rudi Pell en solitario teniendo en cuenta sus cantantes, tenemos tres épocas a las que hacer mención, si no contamos la de Charlie Huhn que solo cantó en su primera obra, así, 90-91 para Rob Rock, que también cantaría solo en su segunda obra, Jeff Scott Soto lo haría entre 1992 y 1997, con obras francamente reseñables, para mi gusto la mejor de ese periodo "Black Moon Pyramid", y luego entre 1998 y la actualidad Jhonny Gioeli, ex de Hardline y ya un icono del sonido Pell tanto casi como el propio Axel y su inconfundible guitarra. Hoy quiero rescatar otra de las obras de prolífico músico, la primera de la época Soto a la voz, "Eternal Prisioner" de 1992, acompañado además por otros grandes nombres como Jorg Michael a la batería, y de esa obra dejo hoy el tema que la da nombre, "Eternal Prisioner" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Octavo ya album de estudio para los escoceses Alestorm este "The Thunderfist chronicles" cuya salida oficial se espera para este 20 de junio, lejos va quedando ya sus inicios en 2007 y su crecimiento como referente internacional ha sido tremendo. El sonido de sus obras ha sido desde el inicio de su carrera muy reconocible, siempre con ese componente irreverente y un tanto guarrete que se ha convertido en su seña de identidad. Otro de los adelantos de su nuevo trabajo lleva por título "Killed to death by piracy" y de él dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube.
