Volver a Arch Enemy es siempre un gustazo, sobre todo en los últimos años en los que, como sucede con otras bandas tipo Amorphis, cada material publicado es sinónimo de éxito, seguro de calidad, y este "Deceivers" es una mustra perfecta de lo que digo. Siempre bañados por la etiqueta de sonido extremo, si uno va más allá de clichés se da cuenta de que el sonido heavy metal está muy presente en este grupo, y particularmente diría yo en esta obra. El tema es que la portentosa voz, agresiva y contundente de Alissa, más allá de su imagen y capacidad para atraer los focos también desde lo fisico, puede eclipsar otras facetas de una banda que siempre cuida los detalles desde el punto de vista musical y compositivo. Obra muy completa este "Deceivers" de este 2022, cuyos temas rayan a gran altura pero sobre todo de manera homogénea, quizá no sean tres o cuatro de un 10, pero si son todos dignos de un notable, algo que es siempre a la larga más deseable.
