TWILIGHT MESSENGER

Simplemente la estética de la banda a través de su "cover artwork" y su diseño general nos da una sensación de que nos encontramos ante algo diferente, y así es, pues estamos ante una nueva forma de hacer heavy metal, y no me refiero tanto al sonido en sí, al que podríamos encasillar en un Power Metal, un tanto oscuro o agresivo si se quiere, pero power al fin, me refiero a que la banda tiene un concepto al que posiblemente debamos ir acostumbrándonos, el de buscarse la vida para grabar tu música, algo a lo que ya me he referido en el blog con por ejemplo "Hecarim". En este caso "Twilight Messenger" es un proyecto de dos personas, el estadounidense Juan "The Beast" Rodriguez, cantante, y el británico  Andy "The CloudRunner" Feehan,  Guitarrista y Bajista. Ambos músicos desarrollaban sus esfuerzos musicales a través de internet, en concreto de sus canales de youtube, y comienzan a colaborar en sus respectivos proyectos. Ambos músicos están por ejemplo detrás de los temas de youtube de "fantasy metal covers" de “Over The Misty Mountain Cold”, “Rains Of Castamere” entre otras con bastante éxito de visitas online. Tras un tiempo colaborando deciden crear un proyecto común al que llaman "Twilight Messenger", un proyecto que se ha visto hecho realidad en forma de su primer LP, "The wolrd Below", de 2014, para el que han contado con la colaboración del batería Chris Johnson, y de los cantantes invitados Julia Orwell y Jack Sherriff, habiendo fichado por un sello y todo para editar el disco, "Stormspell records". Como decía más arriba, su música es un power métal con un toque agresivo y oscuro en ocasiones si se quiere, un disco del que hoy quiero dejar un enlace a youtube de su tema homónimo al nombre de la banda, "Twilight Messenger", en definitiva otro enfoque, muy de los tiempos que corren, de buscarse la vida para editar tu música, por mi perfecto, mientras detrás haya heavy de calidad, como creo que es el caso.
