Hablar de los últimos ochenta es hacerlo también de música más hardrockera, y en esa época había infinidad de bandas, muchas de las cuales alcanzaron un notable éxito internacional, otras sin embargo fueron poco más que una aventura de un solo disco y apenas fueron conocidas a nivel internacional. Un caso de estos podría ser Scarlet Red, un grupo de origen estadounidense, que hacía un hard rock cercano al heavy, con ese sonido tan característico de esa época, y que sacaron solo una obra de estudio, en 1989, titulada "Don't dance with danger", un poco si se quiere en onda Stryper. Quiero dejar hoy el tema "you live fast" de dicho disco, un tema enganchón y facil de escuchar que representa una parte de lo que se hacía a finales de los ochenta y principios de los noventa.
