NORTHERN  RAGE

Como ya dijimos en la anterior entrada de Crystal Eyes en nuestro blog, esta banda sueca se formó en 1992 y comenzó a sacar demos en 1994. A partir de 1999 comenzaron a sacar discos de estudio llegando a editar 7 obras, la última de ellas de hace tan solo unos meses llamada Killer. El grupo es un proyecto del teclista y cantante Mikael Dahl, principal compositor de la banda y cantante en la mayoría de sus discos, aunque Crystal Eyes ha tenido otros vocalistas como Soren Nico Adamsen, que estuvo con la banda entre 2006 y 2009, o el increible Daniel Heiman de Lost Horizon, quien grabó con ellos su cuarto disco de estudio "Confessions of the maker", disco que hoy nos ocupa. Se trata de como digo su cuarta obra de estudio, del año 2005 y es por desgracia el único que grabaron con Daniel a la voz, y digo por desgracia sin el animo de menospreciar la calidad de los otros vocalistas que ha tenido la banda sino con la intención de subrayar la alucinante capacidad de Daniel, uno de mis vocalistas favoritos en esto del heavy, que siempre da un plus a la banda en la que milite. El disco creo sinceramente que no es el mejor del grupo, sin embargo con el añadido de Daniel a la voz, la buena ejecución de la banda en general y una composición más que correcta hacen de este disco una obra a tener en cuenta para dar un parle de escuchas.
