GENERATION STEEL

De nuevo volvemos a estos alemanes en nuestro blog y como ya dijimos en alguna entrada anterior sobre este grupo, Majesty es una de esas bandas del llamado True Metal muy al estilo de Manowar. Ya solo desde que vemos su logo o sus portadas nos damos cuenta de que van de ese rollo, y cuando ponemos su música desde luego no podemos tener ninguna duda, incluso Ross the Boss de Manowar colaboró en su segundo álbum de estudio. Majesty llevan tocando su heavy power true metal desde el año 2000 en que sacaron su brillante primer cd Keep it true. Desde entonces 6 discos de estudio les contemplan con un paréntesis de tres años, entre 2008 y 2011, en que la banda, en una de esas cosas incomprensibles que muchas veces hacen los grupos, seguramente movidos por cuestiones contractuales con sus discográficas, cambió en nombre por Metalforce para volver después de 2011 a llamarse Majesty, para sacar dos discos más en un solo año, 2013. La última obra ha visto la luz en marzo de este 2015, que hace el número 7 de sus discos de estudio, de título "Generation steel", el disco que hoy nos ocupa, una obra de la que la verdad es que esperaba que me entrase más rápido de lo que lo ha hecho, y a pesar de que no le falta ninguno de los elementos característicos y esperados del grupo en general me ha parecido que sus temas carecen un poquito del "filo" que en otras ocasiones han presentado, sin embargo finalmente va conquistándome, posiblemente el problema esté en mi recepción hacia la obra más que en nigún cambio reseñable en la banda o su estilo, pues no difiere tanto de sus dos antecesoras de 2013. Quiero dejar en el blog el segundo sencillo del disco del que hace solo unos días han publicado el videoclip, de título homónimo al disco, "Generation steel", una canción más que correcta completamente dentro de los cánones de la banda, y de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
