QUEST  FOR  GLORY  (VALHALLA) 

Estos italianos si que llegaron en el momento adecuado, a la escena perfecta para su sonido, a finales de los 90, al calor del éxito de los por entonces omnipresentes Rhapsody, para con una presonalidad propia, pero bebiendo de la misma fuente que los mencionados Rhapsody aprovechar el impulso de ellos para tratar de arrancar su carrera. Son Drakkar, formados en 1995 y que debutan en formato LP en 1998 con "Quest for glory". Siete LP's de estudio desde su formación habla de nuevo de una banda no lo suficientemente consistente, con demasiadas pausas a pesar de haber estado en activo teoricamente de forma continuada, así, agrupan sus discos en "arreones" compositivos de tres, dos y dos por década, flaco favor para una escena tan llena y un público ya poco amigo de la fidelidad que agradece mucho más las "cucharaditas compositivas constantes" que los silencios largos entre "atracones".
