NIGHTBREAKER

A pesar de la ya citada y evidente dificil época para el heavy metal clásico, época de transición que fue en general la década de los 90, pero sobre todo su primer lustro, si que existieron bandas que pudieron mantener alto su nivel, alejandose de modas, de corrientes más que nada seguidas por algunos para tratar de coger esa ola y aumentar su éxito de ventas. Una de esas bandas, que en general se ha mantenido fiel a su sonido, al concepto clásico, a lo largo de toda su carrera, evidentemente sobre todo con Reale en sus filas antes de su desgraciada y prematura muerte para los amantes del heavy metal. Hablamos de 1993, años realmente dificil en los términos citados, y una de esas luces guía era este "Nightbreaker" de Riot, los estadounidenses editaban un completo, memorable octavo LP en su discografía, que incluia un par de versiones ajenas, una propia y el resto temas nuevos, un disco que paso demasiado en segundo plano, como en general toda la carrera de esta fantástica banda.
