TAINT  THE  SKY

"Seventh Wonder" es una banda sueca de esas que realizan un sonido a medio camino de varias cosas, pero para poder acotarlo deberíamos mencionar el Power metal y la vertiente progresiva del mismo. Formados a comienzos del presente siglo, la realidad es que la constancia no ha sido su rasgo más característico, han carecido seguramente de una mayor productividad de obras, han tenido demasiados periodos en que no editaron nada para llegar a solo 6 LP's en más de veinte años de carrera. Es cierto que la calidad parece ser un concepto al que han ido apuntando por encima de la cantidad, pues la escuela de la que proceden donde por lo general cuidar la producción es una constante se encarna bien en su sonido. Otro rasgo que favorece la calidad, o el saber lo que una banda quiere y lograrlo, suele venir de la mano de la estabilidad en la formación, algo que aquí se da de una manera notable, la mayoría continúan desde el inicio. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog un tema de su segundo LP de estudio, "Waitnig in the wings" de 2006, en concreto "Taint the sky" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
