AT THE FORGE
Twilightning es una banda finlandesa que desarrolló su carrera entre los años 1998 y 2009, y cuyo sonido podríamos definir como un power metal de corte clásico europeo. En su periodo de existencia editaron tres LP's y un EP. En 2003 irrumpen en la escena internacional con su "Delirium Veil" editado a través de "Spinefarm Records", posiblemente mi obra favorita de la banda, y que ponía el foco sobre ellos augurándoles un brillante futuro musical. 2004 sería el año de la edición de su segundo disco de estudio, "Plague House puppet show", que la crítica acogió con menos entusiasmo. 2006 fue el de su EP "Bedlam" y en 2007 editarían su último trabajo "Swinelords" antes de su separación definitiva en 2009 supuestamente por falta de motivación para seguir por el proyecto. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog un tema de su debut, por cierto un disco que me resulta absolutamente interesante y lleno de calidad y una escusa inmejorable para acercarse al trabajo de estos chicos. Concretamente quiero dejar un enlace al tema "At the forge", uno de mis cortes preferidos de la obra, y también del grupo, con ese aire al power clásico de Europa de finales de los 90 y comienzos del presente siglo, una canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
