BATTLEFIELD OF HEAVEN
Elvenpath es una banda alemana con un ya largo recorrido en la escena musical, igualmente que un practicamente inexistente reconocimiento internacional. Su estilo es un power metal, de corte melódico e influencia fantástica con un sonido mucho más que aceptable a nivel técnico a pesar de no haber contado con el apoyo de una discográfica, lo cual en parte puede ser la explicación de su discreto discurrir por la escena metálica, a pesar también de haber compartido escenario con grupos internacionales de primer nivel tales como Sabaton, Custard, Majesty, Wizard, Cage o Grailknights. Ellos mismos dicen en su Facebook que sus influencias son Fuego, fantasía, pasión, sangre, épica, melodía, tragedia, amor y sobre todo Metal. Creados en 2001, han editado en todos estos años 4 LP's, el primero de ellos de 2004, y el cuarto y último hasta la fecha de esta reseña, este "Pieces of fate", de 2015, del que dejo hoy una canción en el blog. Esta obra es más que correcta, con un buen sonido y con valor en conjunto, es decir, es un disco lo suficientemente variado y atractivo como para darle una escucha completa. Hoy quiero dejar el tema "Battlefield of heaven", buen termómetro para medir el potencial que atesoran a pesar de su anonimato casi generalizado, dejo un enlace a youtube de este "battlefield of heaven".
