AT DAWN'S FIRST LIGHT
Segundo adelanto de la nueva obra de los suecos Amon Amarth que está a punto de salir a la venta en tan solo un par de días, (25 de marzo). Aumenta por lo tanto su
discografía, disco a disco más pulida, que ha ido poco a poco
incrementando su legión de seguidores, y muy posiblemente lo sigan
haciendo con este "Jomsviking" de 2016, que saldrá a finales de marzo y
que supondrá su décimo larga duración ya en su carrera. Poco he leído al
respecto de esta nueva obra, pero parece seguir los cánones clásicos de
la banda sueca, incluida su temática lírica vikinga que en esta ocasión
parece centrarse, a juzgar por el título de la obra, en los
"Jomsvikings", que según rezan las sagas nórdicas fueron unos
mercenarios vikingos cuya fama fue enorme en la época, en el siglo X y
XI, y que ponían su espada al servicio del mejor postor, una hermandad
que parece será descrita por Amon Amarth esperemos que con toda la
fuerza y calidad a la que nos tienen acostumbrados, desde luego la
temática les dará para buenos temas, y hoy quiero dejar en el blog, como decía más arriba, su segundo adelanto de la nueva obra "Jomsviking", un tema titulado "At dawn's first light", igualmente con videoclip incluido, del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
