HEAVY REVOLUTION
Los británicos Budgie son otra de esas bandas que pusieron su granito de arena para que el heavy metal como sonido llegase a ser una realidad ya que buena parte de su carrera se desarrolló antes de que pudiese decirse que el heavy metal como tal era un hecho. Sus origenes mas orientados al blues hard rock fueron tornandose a medida que avamzaba su carrera y la década de los setenta en un sonido más pesado, siendo un claro ejemplo de banda que contribuyó a su evolución y popularización. Comienzan el 1967 y editan en la década de los 70 siete discos de estudio, considerable cifra. Después en los 80 editarían tres obras más hasta 1982, para rematar su carrera en 2006 con su úndécimo album de estudio y último a fecha de esta reseña, en lo que sería su cuarto periodo de actividad. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una de las canciones de su octava obra de estudio, "Power supply" de 1980, en concreto "Heavy revolution" de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.
