Cuando una banda de las de siempre, músicos fundamentales en la trayectoria del heavy metal como movimiento general sacan nueva música es cuando te das cuenta de lo necesarios que son, que son parte de la banda sonora de tu vida aunque por culpa de un largo silencio les hubieras sacado de tu cabeza momentaneamente, son tantas bandas las que rondan por la cabeza de uno que parece no haber sitio para todas, pero todas son necesarias, unas más fundamentales que otras, pero todas bien recibidas. Impelliteri es uno de esos casos en que el heavy brilla, con músicos como el propio Chris Impelliteri y su shred guitarrero, o Rob Rock y su carismática voz historia viva del sonido que nos une, en este 2024, tras seis años de silencio compositivo editan nuevo material en forma de su duodécimo album de estudio, "War Machine" cuya salida oficial se espera para el 8 de noviembre, y cuyo adelanto "Out of my mind" deja claro su excelente momento, otro grupo que mantiene casi toda la banda intacta desde el comienzo a mediados de los ochenta, más allá de la incorporación para la obra del batería Paul Bostaph con una larga trayectoria detrás por otra parte, un tema de adelanto del que dejo un enlace a youtube, Impellitteri, otro clásico apuesta segura.
