Canciones para una vida - Don't Drop The Sword - Rotten Wings

Si anteriormente hacía referencia a una banda influida claramente por otra, (Wizard-Manowar), en esta ocasión sucede algo parecido con otro grupo que pone sus ojos en uno de los grandes para enfilar su carrera musical. Se trata de los alemanes "Don't Drop The Sword" un grupo de reciente formación y que a comienzos del pasado diciembre editaron su primer LP "Path to enemy" con clara influencia de sus compatriotas "Blind Guardian", una influencia que se hace sobre todo patente en la construcción vocal de las canciones, no solo por la voz del cantante "Anti" que se va a un tono muy similar siempre a Hansi Kursch, pero, como digo, además la construcción vocal de los temas con ese coro de fondo del propio Anti hace que la sombra de Blind Guardian aparezca continuamente para alegría de los seguidores de la monumental banda alemana. "Don't drop the sword" se forma en 2016 y han tenido tiempo de editar de manera independiente un EP, "Into the fire" y como decía más arriba un LP "Path to eternity", ambos del pasado 2017. Dejo en el blog un tema de su, hasta la fecha de esta reseña, único LP, en concreto su "Rotten wings" del que dejo un enlace a youtube, con una buena producción a pesar de su edición de forma independiente lo que les augura un buen porvenir si siguen en la linea, veremos.
