Muy poquito queda ya para la publicación oficial del nuevo trabajo de estudio de Warkings, el proyecto internacional ya asentado y por méritos propios y constancia considerado absolutamente una banda como tal. Manilla Road - The Riddle Master - Canciones Para Una Vida

THE  RIDDLE  MASTER 

Otra banda clásica de nuevo en el blog, los estadounidenses Manilla Road, desde los más profundos terrenos underground en sus comienzos, con el inicio de la década de los ochenta, abriendo tendencia, pero con poco o nulo reconocimiento en su momento, se trataba de un sonido muy novedoso para la época, ese aspecto épico creado con guitarra, sin adorno alguno, más allá de las narraciones, es esencia de heavy metal clásico, y tan solo el tiempo les está colocando en el importante puesto que merecen dentro de la historia del heavy metal. Activos hasta 2028 en que su cantante y guitarrista Mark Shelton muere, la banda publica 18 LP's de estudio, otro dato a tener muy en cuenta, y de su material ochentero quiero rescatar hoy el disco "Crystal Logic" de 1983, tercer LP de su discografía y del que dejo hoy en el blog su canción "The riddle master", cocinado a fuego medio pero con fuerza y todo el sabor metálico de la banda, una canción de la que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Hammer King - Make Metal Royal Again - Canciones Para Una Vida

MAKE  METAL ROYAL AGAIN 

Hammer King, cada vez que hablo de esta banda alemana me asalta el mismo concepto, la misma sensación, y cada vez la conclusión que saco es más confirmada, un grupo de los que a primera vista, en sus comienzos, hubiera sido de esas bandas que se diluyesen en el anonimato, no por no hacerlo bien, más por una propuesta compositiva demasiado usada, que realmente nada nuevo aporta y que tampoco es que haya adquirido un rol de banda reconocible al instante, sin embargo, con esa sensación de persistencia su carrera va cogiendo fondo, no obstante su discografía la componen ya siete albumes de estudio si incluimos este "make metal royal again" que verá la luz de forma oficial el próximo mes de agosto, desde 2015 en que se forma el grupo. Pink Cream 69 - Still Alive - Canciones Para Una Vida

STILL  ALIVE 

Los alemanes Pink Cream 69 han sido uno de esos grupos cuya importancia estoy seguro que ira aumentando con el paso de los años, máxime ahora tras su separación definitiva el pasado año 2023, una banda importante por lo sonoro, con obras magníficas, doce LP's de estudio que siempre se movieron entre el hard rock y el heavy power metal, con una marcada identidad respaldada por la enorme calidad del grupo en su conjunto como de los músicos por separado, superando salidas de miembros carismáticos y sabiendo reinventarse para consolidar una carrera de casi treinta años. En el apartado de los nombres propios, la primera parte de su carrera muestra tres obras con Andi Deris en un momento pletórico, que evidencia el por que de su posterior fichaje por Helloween. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog una de las canciones de su tercer LP, el descomunal "Games people play" de 1993, recomendable enterito, pero del que dejo hoy el tema "Still alive" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.

Gary Moore - Blood Of Emeralds - Canciones Para Una Vida

BLOOD  OF  EMERALDS 

Vamos hoy con un poco de repaso clásico a través de la figura de enorme guitarrista y cantante Gary Moore, quien comenzó su carrera musical en solitario a finales de los setenta 1977, y que para 1989 editaría ya su séptimo LP de estudio, este "After the war" del que hoy quiero dejar una de sus canciones. Se trata de la última obra del músico desde una perspectiva más hard heavy, ya que a partir de este album el espíritu Blues llenaría sus obras muy claramente dejando a trás la primera etapa de su carrera más rockera. LIGHT  AND  SHADOW 

Los finlandeses Amorphis son otra de esas bandas que con solo el hecho de anunciar material nuevo atraen las miradas del planeta metálico por completo, y es normal y merecido, una banda que obra tras obra muestra el nivel enorme que muestra Amorphis es sin duda una banda a la que mirar en cada propuesta que haga. Su anterior trabajo fue publicado en 2022 y este "Borderland", cuya salida oficial está prevista para el 26 de septiembre, será ya su décimo sexto album de estudio del que ya han dejado su primer adelanto, "Light and shadow" del que dejo hoy en el blog un enlace a youtube de su lyric video oficial.

Dragonforce - Burning Heart (Feat. Alissa White Gluz) - Canciones Para Una Vida

BURNING  HEART 

 Los británicos Dragonheart han hecho completamente de su sonido característico toda una declaración de principios, una franquicia practicamente, reconocible al instante solo variando algunos aspectos respecto a lo que se considera power de corte europeo, y eso les ha llevado al siguiente nivel de éxito en una carrera  que se extiende ya a lo largo de un par de décadas, desde comienzos de siglo. Helloween - This Is Tokyo - Canciones Para Una Vida

THIS  IS  TOKYO 

Uno se da cuenta del poder de convocatoria de una banda de las grandes, como Helloween, más un mito que un grupo al uso, cada vez que ofrecen al gran público una nueva propuesta compositiva, y desde el anterior trabajo "Helloween" de 2021, el disco de la reunión y mega refuerzo de la banda, que sirvió para quitarse la curiosidad de hasta donde podía llegar la disparatada idea de un Helloween con tanta gente junta, este disco debe ser el de la confirmación de que la idea es viable, y pueda pensarse en una carrera de la banda a largo plazo con este formato. Sabaton - Hordes Of Khan - Canciones Para Una Vida

HORDES  OF  KHAN 

Recordemos que los suecos Sabaton llevan sin sacar un LP desde el año 2022, y a pesar de que desde ese momento han editado tres EP's, los dos singles de este 2025, ("Templars" y este "Hordes of Khan") hacen presagiar un nuevo LP a la vista del que aún no tengo noticias como tal. CRY  FOR  THE  FALLEN 

La verdad es que del último trabajo de los suecos Tungsten, echaba eb falta una canción del tipo de este single que ahora nos presentan suelto, una suerte de power ballad para las que tienen también una habilidad especial, así, "Cry for the fallen" habría cabido perfectamente en su disco "The grand inferno" de 2024, pero, la industria demanda demasiada presencia de las bandas en la actualidad, no se puede permitir un grupo pasarse demasiados meses sin dar señales de vida compositiva puesto que muchos de los fans son, o somos de memoria fragil sobre todo con la enorme oferta actual a nivel global, sea como sea presentan este tema "Cry for the fallen" en este 2025 y de él dejo en el blog un enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Vamos hoy con una banda francesa, Rising Steel, quienes haciendo gala de su heavy power con clara influencia clásica, mirando a los años dorados de la NWOBHM ochentera, editan en este 2025 su cuarto LP de estudio "Legion of the grave", obra que verá la luz de forma oficial en el mes de agosto (29). Parece algo casi increible, algo predestinado a esa escena, el hecho de la facilidad aparente de las bandas suecas para instalarse en esa línea imaginaria entre el heavy melódico y el hard rock, en esa vertiente completamente equilibrada, de accesible propuesta que hace que en seguida tararees los temas propuestos. En este marco, Crowne edita en este 2025 el que será su tercer LP de estudio, "Wonderland", cuya salida a la venta oficial se espera para el 20 de agosto, y del que nos dejan en estos días su primer adelanto, "waiting for you" que yo dejo hoy en el blog a través de este enlace a youtube de su clip oficial.

Grailknights - Necronomicon - Canciones Para Una Vida

 

NECRONOMICON 

Que gran noticia es siempre que una de tus bandas saque material nuevo, y este es mi caso de hoy con este single de los alemanes Grailknights, ese grupo que puede despistar por su puesta en escena pero desde luego son una garantía de calidad y buen hacer compositivo. Desde 2022 no sacan LP de estudio y puede ser este tema la primera pista de un disco nuevo esperemos que proximamente, a juzgar por este single la banda se encuentra en plena forma compositiva. Crystal Skull - Stormbreaker - Canciones Para Una Vida

 

STORMBREAKER 

Los italianos Crystal Skull, o lo que viene a ser lo mismo el músico Claudio Livera, y su proyecto musical en el que se encarga de todo menos la batería, vuelve a sacar un nuevo single en este 2025, "Stormbreaker" que será el anticipo de su segundo LP de estudio "Arcane Tales" cuya salida oficial se espera para este mes de junio. Este grupo - proyecto personal, comenzó 2007, pero hasta 2020 no vio como tomaba forma en lo que a publicación de material se refiere a través de su debut en formato LP "Ancient tales", una fórmula de heavy power de vocación épica muy al estilo de las bandas italianas y griegas, sin adornos, fórmula que parece repetirse aquí a juzgar por su primer adelanto "Stormbreaker" del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
