BULLET RIDE
De nuevo en el blog la banda sueca In Flames, un grupo al que se puede volver una y otra vez sin peligro de equivocarse si lo que uno busca es calidad. Nos movemos musicalmente en el entorno del death melódico, aunque la banda ha flirteado con diferentes subestilos, influjos y evoluciones de su sonido original. Hoy quiero referirme a su quinto LP, "Clayman", la confirmación definitiva de que la música de In Flames estaba cambiando para siempre en una evolución continua que parece continuar hasta hoy. En esta quinta obra, de 2000, se abren las puertas a nuevas legiones de fans, así como el portazo definitivo a los seguidores iniciales que veían como la banda se distanciaba, irremediablemente, del sonido primigenio de death metal crudo. De lo que no cabe duda alguna es del enorme éxito que "Clayman" supuso a In Flames, siendo un disco reconocido por muchos como una de las mejores obras de la discografía de la banda. Hoy quiero dejar en el blog uno de los temas de este disco, en concreto ·"Bullet Ride" que abre el disco y del que dejo un enlace a youtube.
